I just stumbled upon a not-so-secret-anymore forbidden gem near Green Square Station. This cozy little spot is freshly under new management, and it's already serving up serious comfort vibes. The staff — and the cheeky, welcoming owner, Mr Ou! make you feel like you’ve walked straight into a family dinner.
I kicked things off with a crispy appetizer that was so good I momentarily forgot my manners. Then came their signature dish (see photos for full food envy): golden and crunchy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside — or as the owner joked, “just like me!” Woohoo..
Wrapped it all up with Thai milk tea. I was this close to ordering dessert, but the portions were generous enough to tap me out.
Overall? Price? Very reasonable. Would I go back? Absolutely. Bring friends? Already planning the guest list.

Read moreI stumble across this hidden gem in Waterloo last weekend. It is a small Thai eatery in the neighbourhood that serves authentic food. We started the night with satay chicken skewers that were flavourful and tender, follower by Thai salmon carpaccio (or ceviche) which packed a punch and opened up our palate for more dishes to come. We had Thai roast beef, deep fried whole fish with some sweet, sour and spicy dressing, chicken wings, and finished the meal with fried rice.
Overall, food was of great quality, and the staff were so polite and lovely. It is hard to pick the star dish of the night as every dishes were top notch. Their culinary skills were spot on, meat were tender, deep fried pieces were clean and crispy, sauces and dressings were spicy, tangy, sweet, every flavours you would expect from Thailand.
I look forward to revisiting next weekend and trying other dishes...

I had dinner at this Thai restaurant with my family last night and everything was amazing! I ordered Mossman beef, Thai fried rice crab, Pad Cha seafood, chicken stay, Po Tak seafood and dessert ( 😋 yummy.. mango sticks rice and coconut ice cream) every dish was full of flavour and tasted just like real Thai food from Thailand. The Po Tak seafood soup was especially impressive – spicy, sour, and full of fresh seafood!
What I love most is the great value – the food is very affordable and the portions are generous. It’s hard to find Thai food this good and this cheap in Sydney. Every dish was cooked perfectly. And we love it 😊 It’s not easy to find Thai food that tastes this authentic in Sydney, but this place really delivered.
Highly recommend to anyone who loves real Thai food. I will definitely come...
