I was absolutely disgusted with the service here. Myself and my two sisters were refused lunch service at 12.30pm on a Sunday afternoon at the ages of 23, 19, 15 while children younger then us were sitting down eating. Firstly the man who spoke to us after checking our IDs said you are all the same age, then claimed we were 18 and that we could not be served here because we didn’t have a responsible adult with us. All while I was shocked and explaining back that I am 23 years old and how could you possibly claim I’m not a responsible adult. I could very well be the guardian to my 15 year old sister or happen to be a Mum for all he knew. Clearly this man could not read IDs properly and was making up stories in his head/excuses on how old we were. He should not jump to conclusions and be discriminative, would you have refused service if I walked in with a pram or a toddler, or what if I was a tourist visiting our country and wanted some lunch and that’s how you treat your customers who you just assume are not responsible. How could you refuse lunch service on such weak terms, we would understand if it was alcohol but to be completely refused upon walking in was absolutely appalling. We all found this extremely rude, discriminating and disgraceful, as we were not there for a drink, it was not a club and all we wanted was some lunch in the City for a nice day out. Thanks for ruining our day and we have happily taken our service elsewhere, don’t expect us or family/friends to...

We were refused service and the male worker was ushering us out being SO RUDE saying we cannot eat there, my sister is 23 years old I am 19 and my younger sister 15, after checking our ID he was saying we are to close in age to eat here and that we need an ADULT with us
Sorry but what is an "adult" what age makes you an adult ?? I am over 18 my sister is 23!!!!!! So we can't sit here and eat LUNCH because we are under 23, mind you there are KIDS EATING THERE
we asked if my older sister came in with a pram and A CHILD would she be refused service and he said THATS DIFFERENT ????? HOW VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, worker had orange hair and was the "fill in manager" we felt discriminated against for the fact that he wouldn't allow us to sit down and eat lunch because we are to close in age and that was his excuse, what happened if a bunch of 21 year old girls decided they wanted to eat there for a 21st birthday, would they not serve them because they are "to close in age" and also would they not serve them because they are not "adults"
THIS IS A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLACE NEVER GO HERE use your money elsewhere, no one should be treated the way...
Read moreVery small rooms on top of a bar for young. Stayed there for 4 nights. Very nice location in the Rocks quarter. Quite dirty. Only one towel per person, one day there was no service for replacing it, and it was too late for us to ask for it. The toilets and bathrooms (3 showers and 3 toilet seats) are shared (10 rooms, in that floor). The bed is small for 2 people, like in older times. In the room there was also a yellowish hairdryer with a "danger of shortcut" paper-message on it. The living room in which the breakfast is done is nice, in the corner of the building, with many windows. There were only pink ladie apples, progressively eaten as the days went by, bread, milk, and cereal. No coffee. It has run out previous our arrival and meant to be supplied in the first day, but that didn't happen during all our stay. It was not as expected as it costed more than 200 dollars per night. I would expect at least more showers available (some were broken), coffee and towels every day. I guess for one young person travelling alone, for one night or so, it would be Ok. Don't go if you don't like shared toilets or have an early trip the following day and would like to be sleeping...
