I went for a tour on Australia’s east coast August 2023, and my first city was Sydney. My partner wanted me to keep an eye out for some art since we had remodeled and wanted some new pieces. After strolling around The Rocks I stumbled across Graham’s animals. I immediately fell in love with Monty the otter. Since I didn’t have much time and was going to be back in Sydney at the end of my trip, I thought if I saw it again I’d stop and check it out. As usual while on vacation I forgot about it and was enjoying my time in that beautiful country. Once I got back to Sydney I wanted to check out the market at the rocks and walked right by the shop and stopped in my tracks. It was meant to be. Otters are a favorite animal and I took a picture to send to my partner. We both fell in love with Monty. And what an amazing souvenir to have while also supporting a local artist. After chatting with Graham, I knew Monty needed to come home. And after hearing how a few people left their prints on the plane, I was mortified I would do the same, and almost left him in the airport in Sydney. But luckily he was my #1 priority to make sure he got home so he wasn’t left for but only a few seconds. Now a few months later, we found an amazing framer, whom by the way did NOT want to give him back, and everyone who came into their shop also wanted to purchase him, and Monty is home! Finding the hidden items in the picture and every time I look at him I am reminded of Australia, and can’t wait to go back and visit again. And hopefully bring home some more of those homeless animals of Graham’s. :-) I would recommend anyone stop in and check out his work. You will not be...
Read moreWe were walking around the Rocks over Christmas and saw some beautiful ATTY artwork on display outside the gallery so popped in for a closer look. All of the work is great and I was expecting it to be exuberantly priced given the quality of the art and location. Actually, I found the pricing to be quite reasonable considering the amount of time that ATTY spends on detailing each piece. Usually I find buying art can be a little intimidating but this was totally not the case in ATTY Gallery. I was immediately drawn to a couple of pieces and ATTY was very helpful in helping me shortlist. His passion for his work is apparent yet there is very much a zero pressure sales vibe going on. I ended up coming back the next day and adopted 2 animals; Milton the giraffe and Alfred the highland cow. Really efficient process and even with a slight mix up on GST that we discovered later, ATTY was very professional about the whole thing and was a pleasure to deal with. All of ATTY art will look great in your house and will completely lift and add character to any room. Mine are now at the framers in Singapore and I can’t wait to get them back. Definitely worth stopping in for browse at...
Read moreIt is all about connection! That is what I felt when I run into Atty Designs while I was walking in the Rocks with my parents. The animals, the colors, the place… it is all full of life! Inside, you just feel you want to transform your home into a zoo. I know hares and rabbits are different species, but they look a lot alike. My grandfather used to call me Bunny (when I was little, my teeth were too big for my face) After he died, every time I see a rabbit/hare I feel a special connection… Inside, Florence the hare instantly captured my attention… but she was out of my budget… Maybe it was destiny but at that moment Atty himself walked into his gallery. He was moving some of his art, and with him was Delilah the hare. She wasn’t exhibit and she was perfect. Since she is new, her price did adjust to my budget and I didn’t think it twice. She came with me, all the way to my home in Costa Rica. Now she reminds me every day of my grandpa. If you like animals, go and take a look! Pretty sure you will connect with at least one of them and hopefully you will have the opportunity to take some...
