Zeus Street Greek North Point — Restaurant in Sydney

I’ve been a loyal customer of this chain for a long time, and I order the same thing weekly from various branches. This was my first time ordering from this particular location and it’ll be the last.

The price here was slightly cheaper, which at first seemed like a nice surprise… until my food arrived and I noticed the protein portion was significantly smaller than what I’m used to getting at every other branch. When I asked the staff about it, they casually explained that this location “just does smaller portions” to justify the lower price.

That’s incredibly misleading. The menu doesn’t make this clear anywhere, and as someone who regularly eats here, it felt deceptive to find out after paying that I was getting less for what’s supposed to be the same dish.

If you’re going to cut portions, be transparent about it don’t rely on customers to figure it out the hard way. Poor communication, inconsistent standards, and zero transparency.

Perhaps they should consider renaming this place “Zeus Street Greek: Portions for Ants.”

Supremely disappointed with my meal. I had ordered the Chargrilled Lamb BBQ plate, at $27, and I received a half a cup worth of chargrilled lamb, and four pita quarters, with a slice of lemon, half a red onion (sliced) and a small cup of tzatziki. For the price, this is a small amount of food. The pita wraps look to be a lot more value for money, they look quite large. The lamb had minimal flavour, I think most of the flavour was coming from the flaked salt on the pita quarter. The texture of the pita was nice, though. I think to call this legit greek food would be insulting to the Greek community. To order the food, you use the computer terminals. My colleague tried to get a receipt emailed to him on two seperate occasions, and neither came through. He knows a lot about IT, yet it was all Greek to him. Ordered 2 x Spartan Bowls and had these delivered. The food was well prepared, delivered on-time and quality and taste of food were good, rate this as a 5/5 for those items.

Portion size however was a 2/5 as it was the size of an entree portion. I have ordered here before and the meals were adequate however the last two times they were entree size dishes. Slightly disappointing.

Contacting their customer service to advise on the matter in a positive and constructive manner they responded in a disappointing way asking for photographs and stating there have been no changes. Once I responded they did not reply....
