Terrible food!!! I ordered Hainan chicken rice, the rice came as plain rice instead of flavored rice. Waitress explained this is how they serve the dish. If you do not have sauce on the rice, then you cannot call it Hainan chicken rice! The chicken was also flavorless and smelled odd like frozen chicken instead of freshly made, I only had half as I was worried it's off. I also ordered pan fried pork buns, they came small and wrinkled, definitely coming from frozen package, and I can tell it was not even good quality frozen pork bun. I paid $8.8 for 4 tiny buns, I expect hot juicy buns, sadly there was none. I could have gone to the supermarket buy the frozen bun, cook at home, and it would taste way better than the one served. Lastly my third dish was stir fry flat beef noodles, once again a disappointing dish, the flat noodles were so pale! And there was no seasoning! I can't believe the owner/chef would let dishes like this to come out from the kitchen, they didn't even look right. This will be my first and last time eating here. Big thumbs down. I'm just glad I didn't get...
Read moreThe food is very bad and salty and the service is ridiculously terrible. We asked for warm water and when I checked the water there was a little bug and when i told them about it and you know what they said? “Its just a little tea leaf” i am not blind and i can distinguish what a tea leaf or bug looks like, and we have 12 ppl dined in and everyone was very surprised of their answer. They have shared toilets inside but when I asked to use the toilets they refused with eye rolling as if i am some kind of outsider (even though we are literally was having dinner there). So i went outside and I asked the girl from the next restaurant who is very friendly and polite if there is any public toilet and she said that i can use their toilets behind the kitchen which are shared across the restaurants. I was really disappointed with zoo family restaurant services and food and I would never even recommend or reconsider to...
Read moreBest coconut chicken hot pot we had in Sydney. This is the second time we had their coconut chicken hot pot this week, our Japanese friend likes it as well. It’s very similar to what we had on a trip to southern China. The chicken looked very fresh when it was brought to us, and the staff told us that it needs to be cooked in the hot pot provided for at least 4 mins. We also enjoyed their BBQ duck and Lobster with noodle, our kids were fighting for the noodle.
It’s one of the best Chinese restaurant in Green square, we have been coming for the past 5 years. Lots of selection of authentic Chinese food, our kids really love their handmade dumplings, and pan fried is the best way to enjoy it.
Dinner time is very busy, a bit under staffed. I was told that it’s better that we...
