Stumbled upon this cozy little gem while exploring Stanley — and I’m so glad I did! The coffee here is rich, smooth, and brewed with care, definitely one of the best cups I’ve had in Tasmania. I ordered a flat white, and it was just perfect. Tried their homemade banana bread and scone — both were freshly made and full of flavor. The scone came warm with jam and cream
total comfort food on a rainy day. The cafĂ© also has a small gift corner with local goodies, perfect for browsing while you sip. Staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the dog-themed decor added a charming touch đŸŸ 📍 A must-visit if you’re in Stanley. Stay for the coffee, stay longer for the vibes. #StanleyTasmania #CafeReview #BrownDogCafe

Nice cafe and atmosphere. The Scallop Pie is ok, I think? Service is very slow
my Long Mac order became an Americana in a mug, very bland and 20-30 degrees too hot, (nb: if the water is mouth scorching the coffee is ruined!). As my taste buds were blistered by the boiling coffee, I couldn’t taste the pie!

Had one of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Great taste and good serving size! Definitely recommend. They have some really good coffee here too. Some of the better coffee we've had while being up north.

Nothing but class and perfect devonshire teas. The home made scones came out on a timber board with the best Raspberry jam in the world (took many jars back to Brisbane). Royal Doulton cups & saucers - cant get better than that - and the service - loved it and the whole premises. Will be going back to Stanley one day and definitely having...

Recommend. Coffee and gift shop. We had our standard coffees plus a beautiful piece of hummingbird cake, made by one of the staff members. The staff members were very friendly. There was also the luxury of a wood fireplace warming to shop. There are an array of gifts to meet every budget, from a few dollars to $560 for three...
