Darringtons — Restaurant in Western Australia

I ordered a vegan carrot cake for my sisters 60th birthday. I put in the order at least 10 days before I needed it. The day before I was due to pick the cake up I rang and spoke to the owner just to make sure everything was OK. He assured me everything was fine, on the morning of the day of pick up he rang me to say he was not happy with how the carrot cake had turned out and it was too late to make another one so he said I could have the choice of either a vanilla or a lemon cake. The only cake my sister really likes was a carrot cake but I had no choice other than to choose the lemon cake. It was terrible to say the least, nobody finished their piece of cake as it tasted stale. Yes, I understand vegan cakes are a different consistency to normal cakes but it was just terrible. We ended up totally wasting our money and threw the remaining half of the cake in the bin. It was just so disappointing. I was offered my money back $60 for the cake but I was so angry I refused it. I’m sorry but I just couldn’t recommend Darringtons...

Love love love Darringtons Bakery 😊 Being GF for 10+ years, I have gotten used to not being able to have many things.... it's a dream walking into Darringtons and being able to choose whatever I like 😍😍 (Soooo dangerous!)

My 2 year old son is also allergic to egg, so it's like a kid in a candy store (literally) seeing him be able to choose whatever he likes 😊 My son is a huge fan of the Wagoon wheels with sprinkles on top, of course!

I really like the Mini pizzas, the dough is absolutely divine!!!! The variety in the store is so amazing.

Lots of family size pies, mushroom arinchis (which are so delicious), eggplant lasagne, and lots of other savoury and sweet things to take home and freeze.

My advise is take a freezer bag with some freezer blocks with you, if you think you might want to buy some meal type things while you're there 😊

The best gluten free bakery ever! The tastiest breads,rolls, cakes,donuts, amazing croissants and incredible banana bread! Lots of frozen options for anyone who is on gluten free and vegan diet. I cannot express my gratitude to the Daringtons team starting from Zac and amazing baker who creates magic. I honestly don’t know what would I do without this bakery. My daughter is so happy and I am sure she gets all the best ingredients and amazing taste. The bread is so soft for days! My daughter lives on Daringtons Banana bread. Zac thank you so much for creating everything gluten free magical. And every time I come(weekly)they surprise me with new products. The coffee is also amazing! Thank you Zac! Thanks to your amazing baker too! Love love this place it is so warm and welcoming! So lucky to have this bakery...
