Elevated Grounds Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Western Australia

We are locals to this cafe and frequent quite a lot and are usually really happy with the experience. Today, husband waited in line to order coffee and cake and when he got to the counter he asked if you had a red velvet cake. The guy that served him said he wasn’t sure and to look around the corner at the cakes, husband said okay give me a quick sec and was gone for no more than 5 seconds. When he returned the server had proceeded to serve the few customers behind him, meaning he had to line up again and wait for the customers to finish their orders. He expressed to the server that he was a bit disappointed and the server didn’t apologise or acknowledge the miscommunication. Just was a very bad service experience and although was just a minor inconvenience was a bit disappointing that an apology or acknowledgment wasn’t offered. Just offering feedback to maybe work on your customer service, cakes...

First time here for my daughters and myself as we don't get to this neck of the woods much. Atmosphere was nice with comfy booth type seating with cushions for back support which was appreciated by this oldie and especially by my pregnant daughter. Eclectic style of decor with a play area for kids with the cutest wooden rocking plane. Service was very pleasant especially by the person with the wonderful rainbow 🌈 hair. Food was tasty and the servings were very generous, I was in whipped cream heaven! 1 daughter had nachos which she enjoyed other daughter and myself had a pancake. Just 1 each coz they are the huge, fluffy American style. I had bacon,vanilla butter and maple syrup with mine while daughter had Nutella, ice cream and whipped cream with hers. Rocked up with grandparents, family , and kids at 1:00pm for lunch , we all went inside then decided to sit outside , the girls went in and got menus , they spoke to the waitresses in there , we took about 20 minutes deciding on what we were going to eat , when we went in to order they told us Sorry Kitchen is closed .( they advertise all day breakfast till 2:30pm )

Dissapointed with the lack of Service , especially having elderly and the young looking foward to eating and been told they can't. If they had told us when we rocked up or when the girls got the menus or when they seen us looking at menus outside , it wouldn't be an issue .. Poor hospitality and Service .

Won't be going back or recommending to anyone in the future, nor will the ladies ..

This place lacks vibe , customer service and and proffesionalism...
