Tucked away in an arcade in Kalamunda, this place was an unexpected find—but what a buzzing hidden gem! Despite not having been here before, the restaurant was almost a full house when we arrived. It was lively and full of energy, with plenty of guests streaming in—a great sign! There were five of us, and without hesitation, we all agreed on one thing: the salad was the standout. Absolutely delicious! It had a citrus-based dressing with a hint of orange, adding a fresh, zesty twist. The variety in the salad was impressive—thinly sliced radish, fresh greens, and other thoughtfully selected ingredients that made it far superior to your typical pre-made mix. If you’re ordering entrees, definitely upgrade your side to the salad for just $3—you won’t regret it. I had the barramundi, and it was beautifully cooked, paired with a generous portion of feta and salad. The flavours were well balanced, and the presentation was lovely. The portion was just right—not too heavy, but satisfying. For dessert, my friend had the sticky date pudding, which was a bit average, but the panna cotta was smooth, light, and a winner. I would highly recommend booking ahead to avoid missing out—it gets busy! I’ll definitely be going back again.

Me & my girlfriend went to this restaurant because we were looking for a special & tasty meat dinner. We can't stop to underline how the food was so succulent. We ordered a fantastic meat platter, between steak medium-rare perfectly cooked, lovable crispy chicken wings & so tender smoked ribs with the addition of crunchy fries, rich salad & OMG (!!) gravy & BBQ sauces. Amazing was also the wine menú with a nice variety of good local wines with reasonable prices as well as homemade desserts. We choose pudding & parfait and we realised that the chef is also so gooooood and well-skilled as a pastry chef. Standing ovation to him as well as to the rest of the staff that has been welcoming & friendly, either when we were last customers in the restaurant and they never rushed our leaving. Just few little details ,but if put all together they make a big difference for an unforgettable dinner experience. We will come back for sure; next time for the fish menú. :) P.S: We really loved everything, but beware of the set-up of the air conditioning. It was definitely freezing that we had to wear our hoodie in a summer day. We didn't say anything to the staff because we didn't want to look annoying about this.

Situated off Haynes street kalamunda. Oldish building with a tired front, but thats where everything changes. Once you step through the door, you are met by wide welcoming smiles from the staff, and shown to your seat, marked by a board on the wall. Ours was a Birthday, so was marked as such. The food. We both had starters, oysters Kilpatrick for herself and I had the caprese. What a start! Followed by us ordering the two specials. Wagyu beef steak for herself, and I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder! OK Wow! To perfection. Lamb fell apart, the beef melted. Smiles from ear to ear. Followed by a dessert each. Sticky date pudding and an ice cream with strawberry coulis. All rounded off with a wee dram for me, with wine during dinner, and I finished off with a Cappucino coffee which had proper foam! All in all a delightful evening meal. They even came out and wished herself a happy birthday. If you like very excellent food? Give this place a try.

First time here due to the overall great reviews. Unfortunately felt very let down. There were 7 of us for a celebratory dinner, and it took 10min before anyone even noticed we were seated with no menus. We ordered the seafood platter, kids nuggets/chips, kids ribs/chips, saffron chicken, penne pasta and pumpkin tortellini.

The seafood platter was good. Value was ok. Everything cooked very well, but the oysters would’ve been better natural.

Everything else we ordered was horrible. The chicken penne pasta was tasteless, gluggy and so full of thickened cream and cheese sauce, we couldn’t eat half of it. The pumpkin tortellini was worse, which tasted like packet tortellini with pumpkin soup as a sauce. Not to mention the same gluggy, cornflour thickened sauce over it. And worst was the saffron chicken….. the sauce was sweet like KanTong lemon chicken. The chicken was well cooked and moist, but the sauce drowned out everything else and was nearly inedible.

The service was really friendly, but badly managed. Waiting 10min to get menus, having to try to flag down waitstaff to take an order, and waiting over 30min for the food we got, I feel generous giving it 2 stars.

I think we just ordered the wrong dishes. But maybe, they should take out those average dishes and just keep going with...
