On our way to Claremont Jetty, we stopped by to this quaint local breakfast hub, the Bay Road Pantry. You can see the locals love this place as they look like it has become a regular venue for their morning conversations over coffee. It has become a regular catch up venue for dog-lovers too. I ordered mushroom with poached egg completely forgetting about my current condition. The lady who took my order did not miss a thing and approached us a couple of minutes later saying they will have to serve the egg fully cooked either fried or boiled, according to my preference, but definitely not poached because raw eggs are bad for pregnancy. My husband and I are so impressed to the staff's attention to detail. We highly recommend this hidden gem...

Such a lovely place to sit. Nice local vibes with a great atmosphere provided by people sitting around chit chatting. I’ve honestly never seen this place super quiet.

The food could definitely be improved in quality, although the range and prices are quite agreeable. The coffee is nice but I’d not recommend asking for an iced matcha as it comes as a hot matcha latte with ice dumped in. There is plentiful table water so make use of it on a hot day!

I enjoy coming here to work on my laptop or grab a coffee after a match of tennis at the local park. Definitely...
