Easy to find in the crossways strip mall next to liquor lands. There is plenty of convenient parking, especially out the back. 1st hour free, $ 1.80 for next hour.. A bit of a line, but the cashier was fast and efficient, so the wait was not long at all. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ordered the chicken Laksa, not a long wait for the food to be delivered by a friendly staff member.
Sat in the forecourt area, busy with family's and local business people and regulars. It's very popular, so expect to wait for a vacant table if you arrive with the lunch crowd. It's definitely a happening place with a good vibe
The aroma of the laksa was very pleasant. Choice of egg or rice noodles. Plenty of chicken, thinly sliced cabbage, tofu, and spring onions mixed in with a nice and hot soup with plenty of flavour and just the right amount of spice.Amazing. They also have seafood laksa and vegetable laksa
Make sure and grab some cold, complimentary bottled house water in the fridge and some extra napkins

They also charge the same amount for a vegetarian option as for meat. Service was not that great, no offer of water for the table, and the waiter completely ignored me and walked past when I tried to ask if I could take away the rest of my meal. No napkins or cutlery provided when I got it take away either, despite me having to pay extra, and when I came back to the counter to request some I got treated very brusquely by the male who I'm assuming is the manager, and the blonde female waitress. Probably wouldn't return...
Read moreTried the laksa here. According to the poster, it is probably the best laksa in Perth. Personally, it didn't feel like a Malaysian or Singapore laksa with the rich coconutty creaminess that you expect. Rather, this felt closer to the Thai Khao Soi version of laksa which probably better suited the palettes for Australians in terms of spiciness. They had noodle options and I picked egg noodles for this seafood laksa. However, the seafood items (squid rings, fish balls etc) used were clearly frozen and not fresh seafood which you expect in a laksa. So that was...
