We recently breakfast at Together & Co Busselton and while the food is great, the overall experience was significantly let down by a clear lack of staff.
The issue was at the buffet breakfast. One chef, a truly amazing and hard working individual. He was absolutely run off his feet, doing an incredible job under immense pressure.
This staffing shortage created a domino effect of problems, basic items like the sliced fruit, orange juice, butter, serviettes, tea bags, glasses for juice and coffee cups were consistently empty and took a long time to be refilled. The wait for the single coffee machine was unbelievably long as the machine they have is incredibly slow. It's frustrating to have great food but a poor experience because of these simple issues.
To the management, please give your staff the support they deserve. The lone chef is a credit to your team, but he can't do it all.
Hiring more staff and adding another coffee machine would drastically improve the experience and bring the service up to the standard one expects from a...
Read moreOur first experience at this brand new restaurant was an excellent one. It was located in the newly open Hilton Garden Inn Busselton on the ground floor. We had the buffet breakfast and the staff were all top notch in their services. Gypsie was kind enough to show me how to make a mocha from the coffee machine & chocolate powder, and made me one too after! She even brought a kids activity kit for my girl so I can have my breakfast in peace. Abbie was also friendly and proactive to clear the plates. I also particularly appreciate the egg station where you can order any kind of make to order eggs ( omelette, hard boiled, sunny side etc)! The spread of food was huge despite the area, with cold food, continental to the hot stations. There was also a Hilton Waffle corner too. I also had a drink at the bar on Sat night, and was served by the friendly Coco. Nice vibes ! Will love to return again....
Read moreA friend and I came here after we tired of waiting to be served at another nearby restaurant. The staff very promptly arranged a table for us despite our lack of reservation. Our order was taken quickly and we received our drinks just after. As it was quite busy, the food did take a little while to come but we hardly noticed. The relaxed, cosy atmosphere was conducive to a nice conversation as we sipped our beer and champagne. I had the cauliflower salad and hassleback potatoes. The chefs were kind enough to swap out the dairy element of the dish for a nice balsamic dressing. My friend had the gnocci. She also had tiramisu. It was all delicious. 10/10 and gold star 🌟 Also, the person who served us was very nice. Kat or Kaz? Idk Anyway, great dinner and if I could just give one note, you could toss the cauliflower in the fryer before serving. I think thay would really make...
