Very reasonably priced lunch spot in Hallstatt with good burgers. It's easy to find because it's right at the beginning of the street leading into the center of Hallstatt. We got there around 12:30 pm on a Tuesday and were shocked that there was only 1 person ahead of us. When we passed by again around 2 pm, the place was crowded.

My husband and I got the Burgermanburger and my daughter got the Chicken burger without onions. The burgers come already dressed with ketchup, mayonnaise, grilled onion, lettuce, and tomato. So if you don't want some of those things, you need to let them know when you order.

This won't be the best burger you've ever eaten but at 8.60 euro it's a heck of a lot better than McDonald's.

I read a few reviews and decided to get food at 11am. THE STAFF: were fantastic and attentive to my requests. They took just shy of 10min to make the food. You can see them make it in front of you on the flat top grill. THE FOOD: Some Americans think the food will taste like American food. The beef and the ingredients are all slightly different. They come from the EU, not America. That being said, the burgers we had were good, not fantastic but worth less than 10 euros. The bun was toasted. The cheese is really salty. The bacon was good. The patty was a little dry and overcooked, but I didn't expect gourmet. I would rather have overcooked than under and get sick. The portion for the burger was good.
