since we stayed in the hotel right next to the little town square of this lovely town; we took this place as the start of our dreamy experience here. it took only 8 minutes to cross the lake / Hallstatt see from the railway stop /Bahn on the opposite side of the lake. we did pay attention to the ferry schedule as we went in a low travel season. It has a daily schedule of one cross per hour, daytime, and no service during sundown. while we're waiting for the ferry, we could enjoy the snacks we bought, take some photos of the town from afar. when the ferry arrives, we could take even more photos and video of the fascinating "skyline" & natural scene there. when the ferry parked at the pier, every one is so excited to rush ashore. hah and we just turned back to thank the ferry staff, as it's a quiet place, and it could be much more difficult to reach Hallstatt if the ferry stops service. 🧭 Tip: If possible, take the first morning boat—it’s peaceful, the light is perfect for photography, and you’ll experience Hallstatt at...
