I went to this place because I searched for cafes I could work at (with my laptop). It was described as a welcoming place for that and I l liked the vibe from the pictures.

I went there on a Thursday and stayed from 13:00 - 17:00. What I found very positive was that the place is very central, but in a hidden alley where you quickly escape the touristic chaos. Inside, the ambience is nice and they played Pink Floyd the entire time I was there, which I enjoyed. They didn't mind me staying that long... But maybe they didn't mind a bit too much?

The only time I was directly approached was when I came in. They didn't have decaf options, so I asked for a chai latte. It came quick and was fine. I was never approached again. The empty teacup and cup stayed with me for at least an hour and no one checked if I wanted anything else. I was directly in sight of the bar and went there to ask for a glass of wine (also came quick, with some water, and was fine). The empty cups also stayed with me until I finished work, payed (by going directly to the bar), and left. There was no sign about the place being "Selbstbedienung" (self-service).

This experience would have been four stars since, as already mentioned, the ambience was nice. But I have to retract one more because I just didn't feel welcome. I didn't feel the service was friendly, and every time I interacted with them, I had the feeling they wanted to be done with me as quickly as possible. I know they can be nice because I saw how they interacted when people they knew entered the place. Just not with me, and I can only speculate as to why. If it matters, I communicated in German to them.

Cool ambience, but I won't be...

I recommend you not go there. I saw a mouse running from right in front of the kitchen (which doesn't have a door) down some a flight of stairs into what seemed like a storage room for food. And some food appeared to be stored very close to the floor. All that makes me highly doubt that whoever is responsible for this place cares about hygiene and food safety. Which is a shame because the food on the menu looked quite interesting. They also only take cash, which is a bit strange but not a big deal since there's an ATM...

Very sad, was looking for an ATM, and two of the girls working here today 20.04. at about 5:50 pm- one with violet-pink hair and blonde long hair were watching me, laughing and facepalming. They did that right in front of my boyfriend. Just because I saw the atm but I knew that this one takes higher fee, so I went out to find another one, then came back - that was so funny for those girls. This behavior, not only to a costumer, but to other people in general is gross and stupid. They should...

Excellent cool spot for food and drinks with lots of vegetarian options. Nice beers on tap, including a house craft beer. It was so nice to find a menu with lighter options, vegetarian dishes and less heavy food than lots of the traditional Austrian fare you get in central Innsbruck. Staff were really friendly and food and drink were served promptly. Slightly complicated to reach the toilet, down the stairs.
