This Indian restaurant is situated in the old town of Salzburg. It has a very traditional feel with a cosy interior. We were seated in good time and the waitress was friendly and polite. The wait for the food wasn't too long. The onion bhaji was pretty decent and had some authentic flavour. The butter chicken was a little on the sweet side having request medium/spicy but was still pretty good. They offer complementary rice with their curries which is a nice touch. However, I would suggest they ask their customers if they would like it, as I didn't really touch mine. I don't like food going to waste, so maybe this approach could be adopted to save food. Once the mains arrived, there wasn't a 'Is everyone ok" check in which is usual practice to ensure the food and customers are ok. And we had to wait a while before we could order another roti. A lack of presence at times. But overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience. The paneer makhani was very good! The bill total was surprisingly...
Read moreWAIT !!!!!!! FALSE RATINGS!! Don't go by rating. I would like to rate ZERO Star ⭐ We visited this restaurant on 8th august & it was our wrong decision of the day. Worst management & untasteful food. We ordered bhindi and paneer jalfrezi sabzi along with chicken starter. And everything was horrible. The guy who was taking orders didn't had idea what is available and what is not. Chicken starter was sweet even after requested to prepare it spicy. Paneer sabzi was tasting like tomato sauce with zucchini 😬 they just forgot to give complimentary rice.😏 They first served mango juice instead of lassi then they gave only 1 lassi instead of 2 and the funniest part is that the mango flevour was missing from lassi🫣 The one and only best thing from the whole lunch was kingfisher beer and its ambiance under the tree. Overall this restaurant is providing false taste indian food under the nameplate of indian authentic name. There is nothing authentic...

Read moreI had gone there Thursday. Did not like the soup. It tasted like salty tinned soup. Liked the fish curry. Today, Friday walked all the way back from the train station. After walking the distance, I arrived and took off jacket. The proprietor then advised that he could not serve me as he had a big group turning up. Seriously? I just told him I walked all the way for this restaurant. He could not fit one single elderly woman in? How rude. Don't advise singles going here. Oddly enough on Thursday, nearly every diner was a single person. I could not believe he could turn away a previous customer, and that he could not find a small corner for me. I also find it odd that when I walked in there was a couple eating, exactly in the same seat I sat in the day before. He could accommodate them but not me? Don't worry, I know when I am not welcome. I shall not return. I will go to local peoples establishments, where me and my...
