Mirabell Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Salzburg

Very unfriendly, arrogant manager who does NOT take responsibility while being served drinks on their terrace you get lice/insect stains on your clothes(see picture). You also have to ask inside whether you can be served outside and when asking for your invoice you have to wait : staff is chatting .

⛔️ I don’t mind insects and other subjects which you brought up, but DO MIND not being informed as a customer upfront after you served us drinks outside, seeing you closing your terrace midday áfter my remark -aware about the insect problem on your umbrellas and witnessing you brushing them off our table-. I DO MIND when there is NOT a single word of interest/understanding when telling you about the stains and also having heard you: informing new customers -in german- not being responsible for stains if they want to sit outside. And remember we moved inside by óurselves afterwards, not by your offer. Seems customer friendliness and compassion is hard for you, even your reply says it all . FYI , Hotel staff shared with us afterwards that they knew about the existing insect problem for days already. Thank for your NOT-understanding, Herr...

Did not have the best experience here. Was not greeted with smile. Ordered matcha latte and was served with the foam overflowing. It's okay that he did not replace it because maybe of cost factor but we would really appreciate if he could at least wipe away the foam that is overflowing and it make it so hard for us to hold the cup without staining our hand with the foam. He did apologize for the overflowed foam though. Matcha latte was not good, very diluted in taste. The spoons and cups are dirty with a lot of stains. The goulash was good though, yummy and piping hot however we suspected that it could be from frozen or canned food since the meat and potatoes are cut like one, we could be wrong. Pretty disappointed as it does not turn out to be as good as what many says here and also it is definitely not cheap...

So, went in to try the famous Salzburger Nockerl. Was greeted warmly and I immigrated ordered the Nockerl with an Iced Latte. The latte came out first and was one of the nest Iced Latte’s I had in recent times. Then the moment of truth, the Nockerl arrived. It looked like 3 mountains which were stacked together. They were made fresh! The taste was good, the souffle with the raspberry compote paired well, and the freshness and the warmth made it even better. But the quantity was too much for me, I guess it’s good for 2 people. I would definitely suggest to try it at this place and also do try their coffee’s. The place itself was small and cosy.
