Casa Napoli — Restaurant in Salzburg

Overall experience was not great. Waiting for a table was not long but we were waiting for quite a long time to order. After we ordered; the process was good and we got our pizzas fast. My Napoli pizza was really good and I enjoyed that a lot, but two of my friends ordered pizza Buffala but the waiter brought margaritas and he said that it’s margarita. When the friends said that they have buffala, the waited said, that it’s buffala. It was margarita with mozzarella, so extra 5€ for each pizza for Casa Napoli :) I love Italian restaurant and especially Italian music in there which was absolutely quiet, no chance to hear anything which made me quite sad. The end of this was that we paid and in 3 minutes when we were still sitting there and finishing our drinks, the owner looked at us like someone was waiting for our table (there was no reservation). In another 3 minutes, he came to us even though we didn’t finished sour drinks and said if we can leave to make space for another person. Honestly, I didn’t experience this in my lifetime. So, I’m not giving this place...

After hearing about this restaurant from my friends, I finally decided to try it out. That was my first mistake. We arrived and were greeted by an unfriendly Italian man who barely looked us in the eye, never mind smiled at us. He took our order and I kid you not, 2 minutes later the food came. We’d barely took a sip of our drinks. Not a good look for a place that claims to be “authentically Italian.” The pasta was tasteless and expensive.

We asked for the bill and waited 15 minutes for it (13 minutes more than the food took). We explained to the owner how we were disappointed that the food came so quickly and didn’t taste good. Whilst we were respectful, he simply lost his mind and started shouting at us in front of the whole restaurant. We then paid €37,90 for the privilege.

Had dinner in Casa Napoli today. Well, the desserts were very good. Pizza and pasta were good, but to my personal taste 4 out of 5. Unfortunately the service has completely ruined the impression and the mood. We had a reserved table for 18.30. The very moment we finished eating (around 19.20) our waiter told us that there were other people waiting and we need to leave. Quite rude if you ask me. On the way out we realized that someone had taken our umbrella, that we left at the entrance. We asked the same waiter about it, hoping that he might ask for our contact details and call us in case the person realizes their mistake and returns the umbrella. The response from the waiter was: "This is not my problem". Again, rude. I truly regret leaving a tip for him, because he definitely does not deserve it. People like this guy should never work directly...
