Pizzeria Belucci — Restaurant in Salzburg

Around 5 pm on Dec 31st we entered the place to book a table for later that evening. The blonde lady at the counter told me that they would close the place at 10 pm so we agreed to reserve a table for 8.30 pm. Given the language barrier I wanted to make sure we were on the same page and repeated multiple times “table for 4 at 8.30”. She seemed to understand and we went back to our hotel. At 8.30 we then arrived at the restaurant and asked for our table. She told us the table was reserved for 8.00, not 8.30 and no other tables were available. Given that a bigger group of guys arrived she simply preferred to give our table away and accused us of being late. One of the other waiters confirmed that the reservation was at 8.30 pm but she still kicked us out on New Years eve. Obviously I cannot comment on the food but just on the rude service and I can also state with certainty that there is nothing Italian in that place. We decided to try that place just because it was emptier than the others....

Very nice and comfy, very creative on the exclusive touch(Menu & the ambient ) they want to give you as a client. The waitress was very courteous, and they food at that time was given fast & fresh. Would recommend it to visit to the FIRTS TIMERS or tourist( AS I AM FROM THE U.S) to try new creative Cusine. The place also offers children allowance and they give papers & nice pencils to color during the waiting time or other.And the location is perfect to be near the downtown of Salzburg. But I would recommend to this lance to be more softer to the client but the behavior maybe at the time I was the waitress was on a bad mood but she wanted to us to be fast at ordering food(CUSTOMER SERVICE)-(FIRTS TIMERS) so it’s a minimum thing to take on. I called in without a reservation and the staff were really accommodating. I took a table at the bar and ordered a beer, the host was really helpful and spoke English well which was helpful but not necessary as I speak German. I chose the Salami pizza. It was huge but when in Rome!!!! Fantastic pizza, one of the best I’ve had in a long time, much better than any chain pizza restaurant back home. If you plan on visiting I would recommend booking in advance as it’s only a small restaurant it was quite busy because the locals know how good...
