The last thing that I can do after staying two nights in this hotel is recommend to somebody to stay here. Let's begin with information about the property. I have booked The Maximilian Hotel via Booking.com when it was still managed by HeymCollections. Some time after I have got mail that management of the property changed to Numa team but don't worry, my booking isn't affected in any way. Only few little changes concerning check-in process and no reception in the hotel. After arriving we discovered that there is many significant changes in the hotel: executive lounge has disappeared, delicious breakfast was replaced to very basic one, our rooms with garden view became room with construction works view. Some remarks about "fully digital guest experience": instead to receive immediate help from reception staff we should to engage evry day with endless correspondence with digital staff. Furthermore we found that there's no air-conditioning in the hotel, room cleaning only once a week, and request to fulfill shampoo in the room was implemented next day morning and request to towel change wasn't implemented at all. Because very noisy environment of renovation works closed to our room we requested room changing or shortening our stay in the property. We were answered that room changing isn't available but there is no problem to cut our stay in hotel, but we should arrange this with Booking.com. Very kind response! In the end, after leaving the property we continue to be engage with Numa digital team to get accurate invoice and get refund of unused nights. To resume: misinformation about a property, awful fully digital guest experience instead helpful and warm human staff on reception desk. We have booked 2 rooms in boutique hotel but really got 2 rooms in cheap youth hostel on...
Read moreAh, Numa Maximilian, where shall I begin? The concept of a seamless check-in is undoubtedly impressive - goodbye awkward small talk at the reception. You get to your room in no time! The location is charming, nestled in a lovely and quiet neighborhood, and the design is exquisite!||Now, let's delve into the charming imperfections. The mattress must have been a historical artifact, passed down from generations, as it was thoroughly worn out. Thanks for the back pain. And the serenade of slamming doors, courtesy of the paper-thin walls, provided me with the thrill of a lifetime. The room was tiny, it could barely fit myself, let alone my luggage. As for cleanliness, well, dust and spiderwebs on the ceiling, is just part of the vintage ambiance, isn't it?||And parking, oh yes, that's a fun adventure. If you're lucky, you might get one of the three on site parking spaces. Otherwise, brace yourself for a lovely souvenir - a parking ticket. ||In summary, if you're after a one-night stay in a Instagram worthy Hotel, Numa Maximilian is your wonderland. But if you value serene nights and a germ-free environment, perhaps consider investing a tad more and stay...
Read moreA hotel for 1 night, no reception and bad communication. 2 nights will become a challenge because lots of questions are left out of their care. Facilities are nice, free water, coffee, etc. But when you face an issue, there is no one to help. This hotel doesnt have a reception which is full disadvantage. They dont accept cash, about this fact they dont inform you in advance. You cant come and ask for soap or call a taxi for you because there is no one to ask. They state they communicate online via WhatsApp or email, but the people there change and they give controversial info each day - it appeared they simply lie. They kick you out at 11 and no option to leave your luggage as in normal hotels. Dirty windows, very dark light in a room at night. They didn't provide us with the hand soap, tissues and one lamp beside the bed left not working. I informed via WhatsApp, no one came on the 2nd day. We left on a 3rd with a lot of disappointment. Looking for a taxi, need to run back from the Museum which we left for the last morning because they promised the luggage room before....
