Smashez Burger — Restaurant in Salzburg

New burger place (or new location). Had the BBQ Double Smash Burger (11,80€) with classic fries (4,80€).

Burger: Potato bun very good (US import), beef good, cheddar good, pickles and sauce good. Bacon was very lean beef bacon and wasn’t very nice. I don’t mind not getting pig bacon as it’s a halal place but use a more fattier beef bacon then. Price 11,80€ is ok, cheaper burgers available too.

Fries: Regular fries made from cheap frozen fries with standard ketchup and mayonnaise (the plastic bags you get in ski resort restaurants..). Would expect hand cut fries for that price 4,8€. Not worth it.

Service was not very organized. They mixed up orders and it seemed chaotic. It’s a burger shack kind of place so you will have to freeze out in the cold while waiting/ eating.

First, the burger was good and fries were very stiff as they are obviously cheap frozen potatoes. However, waiting an HOUR for a burger is just crazy to me !!! I got there at 20:00 and I got my burger at 20:57! They didn’t have 200 people standing in line and they had 4 people working when I got there we were 12 people waiting and there were people before me who were waiting more than an hour and they got their orders literally couple of minutes before me! Handing out free red bulls won’t make it for waiting an hour or more for a burger . The staff apologised but still this is the kind of thing that would keep me from coming back again because it is simply not worth waiting an hour for a burger. Had the chance to try out this street vendor. It wasn't too bad. However, i couldn't give a full rating as the burger got mixed up. Ordered 2 burgers, 1 Royal Truffle (w/o vegetables), and 1 Smoky BBQ. Unfortunately, the burger came the opposite and had the Smoky Burger thinking that the burger lacks Truffle.

The BBQ had these crunchy bits, which was great. Royal truffle burger wasn't bad. It had the truffle mayo flavor, but seems to be lacking.
