Dreifaltigkeitskirche — Attraction in Salzburg

I am a fan of the long neglected composer Michael Haydn. He was the organist at this church/seminary. We visited in the middle of the day when the main part of the church was locked but you can sit inside in a small prayer area.

Dreifaltigkeitskirche Die römisch-katholische Dreifaltigkeitskirche ist ein Kirchenbau aus fürsterzbischöflicher Zeit. Er ist der größte Sakralbau der Stadt. Erbaut wurde sie bis 1702 von Fürsterzbischof Johann Ernst von Thun. Berühmt wurde die Dreifaltigkeitskirche besonders durch ihr Kuppelfresko von Johann Michael Rottmayr, das die Krönung Mariens und die Heilige Dreifaltigkeit darstellt.
