The place looks very nice, they have a piano and everything. We had a "degustation menu, for about 90 euros" the food was correct, but not excellent as you would expect from a place like that. i'd pay 30 euros for that menu. but the worse part is i felt scammed several times: i tried to get tap water and not bottled and the waited seemed to not understand until i got the bottled water he was proposing me. and on the bill there was a handwritten +10% service and a new handwritten total. i asked for explanations, they first told me it is like that. then you could see on the menu it was written that service was included. they became more evasive and finally made a new bill without that 10% scam.

Here's how to tip your waiter: at the end of the meal, your waiter will bring the bill. Add 10-20% depending on the quality of service and round to the nearest whole Euro. I met with a friend and my partner in the back cafe room on the recommendation of our tour guide. Best recommendation for a cafe we have ever received. Eric was the most wonderful server, we never felt rushed or that we were not welcome (despite being English speakers) and the food was amazing. We spent 2+ hours enjoying some fantastic coffee and cakes debating UK and Canadian politics and really soaking in the surroundings.
