TLDR: Really delicious, high quality stuff here.
I never got into fancy cheeses before going vegan, so I know little to nothing about them. But I snapped up my chance to try it out today and was very happy I did! I ordered the 3 cheese plate and received a sharp truffled cheese, a roquefort style blue cheese, and a camembert style goat cheese. The first two were out of this world amazing on their own, and I thought the third was delicious with the mustard fig jam that was on the side. My spouse ordered the soup with a grilled cheese sandwich and added prosciutto. The soup was probably the most delicious pumpkin soup I've every tasted and the grilled cheese with prosciutto was out of this world rich and tasty. I ended up going back later in the day to buy two of the cheeses for my host to try. I wish I had a place to get fancy cheeses like this where I live, but it's probably best for my wallet and waist...
Read moreA hidden gem in the heart of Wien, this place is absolutely charming in every way. The cuisine is fine and sophisticated, offering delicate dishes that highlight vegan alternatives. The place is intimate, with jazz music playing in the background. Seated at a table, you can discover and observe all the products on sale: seasoned crisps, original sauces, wines and kombucha, pasta, vegan cheese... We tried the different toasts and they were all very good, and the oyster mushroom baths were incredible. I'd like to highlight what I consider to be the best toast I've ever had, the CARROT LOX. It's so delicious! The texture of the carrot is melt-in-the-mouth and its flavour is very mild, the vegan caviar gives a salty, iodised note, the mustard goes perfectly with everything and finally the lemon and anethe add a touch of freshness. This place is one of the reasons why I love Wien so much....

They were willing and able to make me their grilled cheese with prosciutto—and it was just incredible. They cheese actually had heft-and-pull to it, and the ham texture and taste was spot-on. Accompanied by some nice sour pickles, it was an incredible vegan bite.
Would definitely come back to order other items, but went away with some vegan Foi Gras and vegan caviar to try at home.
Given the meat-forward Austrian cuisine, it was just an absolute delight to find this...
