I've visited COP three times now, each time at the suggestion of friends who were eager to try it. Despite my willingness to give it multiple chances, I remain unconvinced and somewhat puzzled by its popularity. While the food is decent, I don't find it justifies the price. As someone who typically enjoys shared dining for the variety it offers, I feel COP misses the mark in executing this concept effectively. The pacing of the meal is a significant drawback; serving small shared dishes every 10 minutes makes for a lengthy dining experience. For instance, during my last visit, we arrived at 9 PM, but our main courses weren't served until 11 PM, which is unusually long even compared to fine dining standards. The staff are friendly, though their competence varies. The atmosphere is nice, leaning more towards a cool vibe than a cozy one. Overall, my recommendation would be to explore other options in Vienna, as there are many other restaurants that offer a more satisfying dining experience.

I rarely leave reviews, especially when it comes to restaurants, but my last dinner at COP was something phenomenal! I am a very picky eater and it is super hard to please me, most of the times I dine out dishes lack salt, seasoning, sauce or other condiments. However COP dishes are above and beyond, I can’t even describe how amazing are they. And before I didn’t know that grilled broccoli can become almost Michelin dish! I liked absolutely everything that I’ve tried during my dinner, chefs who work in the kitchen are geniuses! And the team who works with tables are so sweet and welcoming, they make you feel like you came to their house for dinner that they have prepared especially for you. This is truly the best restaurant in Vienna in my opinion and I can tell you that it goes into my top 5 restaurants around the world, and I can tell you that I have been to lots of places. A big thank you from all of my heart to everyone who was involved in creating COP!

Like the best stories, it didn't start with perfection - but trust me, we got there. The table we booked was too close to some other rude customers, a bit too loud and I started feeling uncomfortable. The waiters noted my discomfort without me having to ask, and quickly found a better table for us. And then it was paradise. Amazing food combinations on the menu, I considered ordering "one of each, please" but ended up listening to the waiter's advice (wise of me) Excellent service, even if the restaurant was full we got everything without having to wait for long - only exception was the dessert, but because of a misunderstanding. And it was definitely worth the wait. A bit expensive, but it was worth every cent. Please, go there at least once in your life, you're not gonna regret that.

The restaurant has a modern interior, the location is good in the city center. Wide variety with regards to the menu, fresh ingredients and interesting choice of dishes. However, you can tell that most of the dishes are also “crowd pleasers” and some of the plates could be more bold with regards to flavors, or the composition of the ingredients. Service was alright, but nothing outstanding. You could tell that some of the staff were just helping out or not long in the gastronomy business. However, our main waitress was courteous and communicative. Before we booked a table we read through the reviews and I can partially agree that the noise level is quite high once the restaurant gets full. For us it wasn’t an issue, since it is part of this lively restaurant, but I can understand if some guests are disturbed by this. The only negative thing I can say is that it was the first time for me that I felt “rushed” during dinner. Maybe it was due to the fact that the dishes came in no specific order, but also I had the feeling that the goal is to serve the food and have the table ready for the next seating. All in all, it was an interesting evening and I would recommend some of the dishes, however, it also seems more hyped at the moment, although the potential to make more out of it is...

Interesting concept for Vienna (but far from new or revolutionary), good cooking and wine selection. BUT service was so disorganized and the food menu really lacked balance: There was only one or two vegetable dishes and there were no sides. Also, the main meat or fish courses are served without vegetables as well. They suggested we just have bread with steak for example. A bit odd considering their focus on produce, and mention of all their producers. The fish and everything else we had was prepared very well, but again lacked balance. Also, the room had terrible acoustics and was really loud, I could barely hear my friend speak. And because tables are organized tight and cramped, like at a small cute bistro (which this is not) we were also worried the whole time that our seat neighbors could hear us. Lastly, it was just too expensive (€120 for two people, two glasses of wine, no dessert)

Suggestion: You should space out the tables more if you want a moody, expensive vibe, add some rugs to the room. We might have just been there on the wrong night, but maybe add a tomato or vegetable salad to the menu, and serve more fresh, bright dishes to balance your fried...

An unexpected culinary adventure! When I was invited for my birthday, I suddenly found myself in a restaurant that brought the farm-to-table trend to Vienna. Although the kitchen doesn't grow its own produce, they source it directly from selected farms, which ensures the high quality and freshness of the food. The quality of the products on the plate is noticeable in every bite and is on most plates great - even if it may be unusual for Viennese people not to receive any other side dishes with the perfectly prepared meat in order to enjoy the pure flavour. The sustainability of the restaurant is also reflected in the wooden dress of the extremely courteous and service-orientated staff, which is certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but definitely worth a try. As an exception in Viennese gastronomy, this restaurant definitely has its place. It was an enjoyable and entertaining experience - in keeping with the restaurant's motto, I have deliberately refrained from providing foot pics. Make...
