We chose this restaurant to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend and were really excited to come. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, we were told that we could only stay for two hours, even though we had a reservation. While we understand time limits for tables, the staff made us feel rushed and unwelcome throughout the entire experience.

To make matters worse, the restaurant didn’t have physical menus, which made it difficult for some of us to browse the options comfortably. Despite this, the waitress came by three times within a span of five minutes to ask if we were ready to order, adding to the pressure.

Once we placed our order, the food and drinks arrived very quickly. The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. However, when we asked for an extra plate to share some pasta, the staff member who brought our food simply dropped the plate on the table without a word, making us feel as though our request was an inconvenience.

As our two-hour limit approached, we could sense the waitress lingering near our table, subtly pressuring us to leave. We ended up leaving exactly two hours after arriving because the next reservation had arrived, but it was disappointing that we couldn’t fully enjoy the celebration. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt rushed to order, eat, and leave as quickly as possible. The prices are higher that usual and we won’t...

A friend and I were there yesterday for dinner (which was very good) and by the time we asked for the bill, there were not many people left. The waiter came and asked us if we wanted to pay separately or together and he just told us the amount without telling us what we were paying for or giving us the bill. In any case, after I paid, I asked for the bill and once the waiter gave us the bill he left our table immediately. I was a bit surprised that the bill was a bit high, given the fact that it was just the two of us. In any case, after checking the bill, I noticed that the waiter had charged us additional drinks and food which we had never ordered!!! We told him this and he did not seem the least bit surprised! He just took the bill from me, printed out another bill and gave me the 36 Euros back which he had charged extra!! In the end, he just said a lame "sorry", which didn't sound very apologetic at all and just left. We were quite shocked about his behaviour and the fact that so much was charged extra! All I can say is, before paying, make sure that you ask for the bill first and check exactly what they have charged. This sort of behaviour is quite...

We visited this restaurant for the first time, based on a recommendation. There were quite a few people inside, the dining area was almost full, which showed that the restaurant is popular. We were also expecting to enjoy a nice dinner there.

We asked the hostess if there were any available tables (as we hadn’t made a reservation). She replied that unfortunately there were no free tables at the moment and that we would have to wait.

After us, several other guests arrived — some with reservations and some without. After waiting for 20 minutes, a staff member came and seated a couple who had arrived after us and had only been waiting for a few minutes.

We pointed this out to the staff member, but he simply said he didn’t know and that we would now have to wait at least another 30 minutes. In the end, we had to leave and look for another place to eat.

It’s important to note that it was pouring rain outside, and we got completely soaked while trying to find another nearby restaurant.

Unfortunately, our first impression was...

Had a great dinner at Viva La Mamma in Vienna! The truffle pasta was absolutely amazing — rich, creamy, and full of delicious truffle flavor. The buffalo pizza was also very good, with a nicely baked crust and a decent amount of cheese on top. We tried the stracciatella starter as well, which was creamy, refreshing, and a perfect way to start the meal. The calamari was tasty but felt a little overpriced for the portion size. The seafood pasta was another highlight — great flavor and a good portion of seafood, though it only came with four prawns. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with a great atmosphere, and the service was very friendly. The only downside was that the food took quite a long time to arrive. Still, overall a really enjoyable experience and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Vienna!

Just had an unforgettable dining experience at Viva La Mamma. This charming Italian gem serves up authentic, handcrafted pasta and perfectly rested 72-hour pizza dough that melt in your mouth. Moreover, their Burger is a game-changer, Black Angus beef patty, topped with cheese, and served with crispy fries. The ambiance is warm and inviting, blending classic and modern vibes, making it ideal for a cozy meal or a lively gathering. A special shoutout to our server, Cloudy, whose exceptional service, warmth, and attentiveness elevated the evening to perfection! From the creamy burrata to the delectable truffle pizza, every dish was a delight. Highly recommend visiting Viva La Mamma for a taste of Italy in Vienna—ask for Cloudy for an extra-special touch
