From the moment I walked into “Cafetière” I knew I’d found something special. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere hits you right away! Soft lighting, warm wood tones, and just the right background music that invites you to linger a little longer.

The coffee? Absolute perfection👌. Rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. I live in Cape Town and have to say it’s really a challenge to find a fab coffee in Vienna. Their pastry selection is equally impressive. I love their freshly baked vegan apricot croissant that is flaky and melt-in-your-mouth , got addicted.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the owner. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what she does. That kind of rare service in Vienna makes a place unforgettable.

Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to read or just a damn good cup of coffee, this place delivers on all fronts. I can’t recommend it highly enough—this is the kind of spot you keep coming back to. And don’t miss the best vegan apricot...

The coffee was alright, nothing special but the place is just not for me. The staff was very unbothered and in general it felt like they were annoyed with us for not knowing how to order - the cafe is of a small size and has a weird layout (you walk through a small kitchen to get to the furniture showroom/sitting area), you order at the counter, they tell you to sit and give you a device that will beep once the coffee is ready for pickup. No laptops allowed at the large table which fits with the new trend in Vienna of discouraging table-hogging but several people around us spoke loudly on their phones - nothing the staff can do about it but there is little privacy and I could not...

Amazing Karl-Heinz Toast and Affogato with most amazong homemade ice cream! Qualität and Taste of the offered products 10/10. We went there on a Saturday afternoon and were not greated back when entering or leaving which is a shame and also our order was taken as if we were bothering them. I did not spot the owner so maybe that explains the lack of friendliness of the staff that day. However still recommend going there as you order and pick up your order at the counter so once you got your order the staff doesn't really impact your experience...
