A terrible establishment with unprofessional service and disgraceful management. On April 18, 2025, I made the mistake of choosing this place to celebrate my birthday. The result: a ruined birthday, DAMAGED PROPERTY, completely unacceptable staff behavior, and zero communication from the management. This so-called "establishment" positions itself as ELITE, but the only elite things here are the staff’s inflated egos and the prices.

You’ll be charged a hefty amount for water and bread with butter — which they bring without asking — even if you don’t touch it. They’ll still include it in the bill. At first, I thought it was a joke, since I’ve never seen anything like this at other venues. Bread and butter is usually a complimentary offering, and water is a standard in high-end restaurants.

My beautiful and expensive bouquet, a birthday gift, was completely ruined — flowers broken, the gift wrapping thrown away, and each delicate flower crushed. When we pointed it out, the staff just laughed and DID NOTHING. We wrote an email asking for an explanation and resolution, but we were completely ignored. The management doesn’t respond to comments, complaints, or emails.

If you're coming here just for the view of Vienna — don’t bother. It’s not worth it. Most likely, you won’t even be seated by the window or on the balcony. Instead, you'll find yourself stuck in the middle of the hall, between pillars, tables, and crowds of people.

The only thing you can truly expect here is a ruined evening, broken dishes, mocking staff, scams, and a huge bill for your ruined mood. You deserve better. I’m sure there are many beautiful places in Vienna with stunning views, delicious food, and...

The restaurant is well located, and has a fantastic view of the cathedral if you are fortunate enough to be sat in the right section. We visited on Sunday evening and it was full.

When we arrived the host asked if we would like to put our coat in the cloakroom, we declined as we'd prefer to have it with us. To which he said, well this is a fine dining restaurant so you need to. Why give us the option if we didn't have one? The tone and service of the host was anything but fine. We were then taken upstairs by his colleague who led us to a table and quickly walked off.

This set the tone for the service throughout, it was not terrible but it was certainly not up to standard that this restaurant is trying to pitch its self at, I'd expect comparable or better service at a Bella Italian or Zizzi chain restaurant in the UK.

The starters we ordered were very good, however at over €20 each you'd expect them to be. Unfortunately the mains were disappointing, there was nothing particularly special about them and the beef cheeks were over seasoned.

I also thought the €4pp cover charge for bread was excessive, and it was removed from the table before we had finished it. The atmosphere is ok but not up to the standard I'm used to in a London fine dining restaurant.

The restaurant has the potential to be great but unfortunately it is let down by the quality of the service and the food not meeting the standards they are setting. There are better options in Vienna and I'd be very unlikely to return on a future visit...

Daher ich gesundheitliche Probleme habe, habe ich mir nicht schlechtes gedacht ich hab natürlich der blonden dame das auf erzählt das ich momentan nocht arbets fähig bin. Natürlich hat die das vollkommen ignoriert weil sie hören nur was sie wollen, und hast das ams informiert das ich die Stelle abgelehnt habe weil mich der job nicht interessiert hat .
