It’s one continuous spiral with no landing areas to stop or rest, but you do get occasional small windows with momentary glimpses of the incredible view and the surrounding rooftops. What worried me the most was when people had to go down when we were going up (and viceversa) because it's really tight in there, so you gotta be careful and make sure there's enough space for two people on one step.
