DonauTechno — Restaurant in Vienna

DO NOT GO TO DONAU TECHNO Raffi the bartender was absolutely horrible to me and my friends. We ordered 3 single vodka sodas and he charged me for 3 double vodka sodas, I paid quickly and saw the price afterwards and asked why it’s was so high. He said that in Vienna all drinks are doubles. We drank them and only tasted soda. Cosidering the extreme amount of ice in the glass we should have tasted the vodka, but nothing. I asked if he was sure that there was 2 ounces of vodka in our drinks becuase we couldn’t taste it at all. He asked us to leave the bar and had the bouncer come and remove us and threatened to call the police. I’m a super friendly Canadian and was nothing but kind to the staff. I am appalled by this treatment and service, especially on a WEDNESDAY night. I paid 22€ for 3 soda waters, I cannot believe it. DO NNKT VIIST THIS CLUB IT IS A SCAM THEY WILL TREAT YOU...

Definitely an interesting experience. We were visiting Vienna for the weekend and found out that this would be a good option for a Saturday night, so we went there. By the time we arrived, at 2 am, it was pretty dirty. The floor was super sticky and there was quite a lot of broken glass on the dance floor (because someone dropped a drink most probably). You can’t pay by card if you order less than 25€, but there is an ATM relatively close to this location. The music was def not bad, but could be louder. Simply unacceptable: after a long night of work I finally go for a beer at Donau Techno. The bar is closing at 4:00 so I was largely in time: 3:35. The lights were already on and the barman at work, understandable but I anyway I had an half hour for my drink. I ordered a large beer and the barman told me that was not possible, after my "why?" he told me that I was only allowed to have a small one. I told him that there was no problem I'm quite fast to drink and at 4:00 I would leave my glass anyway. Answer? No answers he just call another guy that he escorted me to the door!!!
