A great place to try the infamous Wiener Schnitzel! We grabbed one and a medium (but was actually huge) size of the pork ribs for €10.90. Both came with a side. We chose the fried potatoes (delicious) and the 'salad' which came with a potato style salad, pickled cabbage and some pickled cucumber. Don't eat all this before your main comes! The pickled veg is a great accompaniment to break up the schnitzel. Menu is extensive but if you're unsure, stick to the classic stuff! Staff were super friendly and down to earth here. Food was very affordable for Vienna and service was quick. We also had two beers and the total came to €29. We were stuffed full!

In general, I can say there are a few items slightly different from other typical restaurants on the menu, and because of the reviews, we were very tempted to go...what a disappointment...the first night we didn't see that there was a sign to wait to be seated (which it was and it was out mistake) so we waited for a few minutes and then went in, a bartender very rudely made a face to leave/wait and said so even. We left. Back again on the mext night. Ordered the garlic soups, goulash, and falafel salad. Looks good, but that's about it. Bad taste, bad service, and waiter directly asked how we tip. We never ate some place without leaving a tip, but for the first time, I felt I didn't want to leave one. We left regardless and left. Never again. I'm giving it 2 stars just because we were very hungry and there was some food to eat....

Everyone enjoyed their food. It was nothing out of the ordinary but it was tasty. My friend was served his main course when he was not even half way into his huge starter which was strange and my friend even told the staff that he wanted to get his main dish when he was finished with the starter, but the waiter said "sorry your main course is already done". Because of this and strange comments during ordering from the waiter we did not want to leave tips. When we told him that we don't want to give tips his face changed and he said nothing more and just left. Could not even look at us or say goodbye when we left. 1. It's not mandatory to tip and 2. How can you expect a tip if the service is bad. Very strange behavior. I will still give 3 stars because the food was good and the prices were decent.

The place looks very nice and traditionally Austrian. The service is great, the waitress was so nice, friendly and helpful. I was ready for an amazing experience until I was served my Backhendl salad. The lemon that came with it was full of mold. There were so many mold spots that I assume that the chef didn’t even looked at it when added it to my salad. It was impossible not to see it. When I pointed it out, the waitress took it out immediately, brought it another and apologised multiple times. But to my point of view this totally ruined the experience. How many other obviouly moldy things are not seen in the kitchen?

Location: the Centimeter is located in the heart of the 7th district, pretty close to the city center and a very hip area. Easy to reach by tram (49) and metro (U3 station Neubaugasse). Food and drink: a couple of years ago, I would have rated the Centimeter with 5 stars. The food was pretty tasty and portions were enormous! Now the quantities are pretty big still, but not as before, and the taste is nothing special... I am a bit disappointed. Beers and wines are ok as usual. Service: it was ok, but nobody cleaned our table :(

Place feels touristy but service is friendly. Tap beer at the warmer end of room temperature (even for local standards). What bothered me was the server asking how much change I wanted back when paying cash, as this is not customary in other places. I was going to tip anyway but it made me feel like he put me on the spot. Probably because it’s a touristy place but still, it sort of spoiled the experience. The schnitzel was very good though!
