I’d highly recommend anyone to visit the pub/restaurant for a truly traditional Austrian experience. This place emanates Austrian culture through its historic roots, small but classic menu. Even if you only visit for a drink, you’ll feel much more fulfilled on your trip to Vienna if you come here. A lovely old place with seating in and out. We went on our first evening in Vienna and after checking out the menu sat inside. Service was friendly and efficient. The beer was reported to be good as was the wine. A glass of tap water was also provided which was much appreciated. We had a schnitzel with chips and salad and fried zucchini also with chips and salad. The salads were delicious. We finished off with two espresso. As we arrived to Vienna we looked for some traditional food to try and this restaurant had very good rating so we decided to try it out. It was Monday evening, there were no empty seats outside so we went inside. That beer smell wasn't inviting to stay there and beside that we got german menu which we couldn't understand at all.
