What a difference a year makes!! - We visited Momo on two occasions last year and were very happy with the quality and service of the pizzas. One year later, a very different story - total disappointment. A totally empty restaurant should have been the first red flag that something was not quite right. Secondly the waitress (besides eating her dinner in plain site of patrons and not knowing that Mojitos are actually on the menu) getting any of her attention was a challenge, then to only give attitude when finally paying the bill. The pizza was dry, flavourless, lacking toppings, and more importantly lacking any quality that La Vera Pizza Napoletana should demand. We felt this business has dropped their standard dramatically, maybe due to the owner opening the new pasta bar next door, but we can’t believe how a pizza restaurant can drop their standards so significantly over a short period of time. Finally it’s disappointing we spent 20 euro for an Uber each way in addition to a 70 euro bill for average food and drinks. Thanks Momo, what was a great 2024 experience was soured by a lack-lustre, epic failure of pizza...
Read moreI spent a lovely evening with a friend here. She asked me to find a decent pizzeria in Vienna because she struggled and after consulting the internet I found MOMO.
It exceeded expectations. I ordered their homemade watermelon and hibiscus ice tea, which, while slightly unbalanced, was refreshing and different. I ordered the Diamante regular sized pizza. It was covered in fresh rucola, parmesan and thick 1/6 pieces of buffalo mozzarella. It looked stunning and tasted even better. The dough was crispy and the crust chewy in exactly the right way.
MOMO might appear more expensive than other restaurant and that's because it is, but the skill and the repertoire of the pizzaiolo is breath taking. This is the best pizza I've tasted north of Naples. There aren't many seats, so reserve a table a week in advance! I will return,...

We saw the rave reviews and had high expectations, which unfortunately were not met, by the service (exception from 1 lady) and the food.
This is a low end pizza restaurant, no insult meant, just that is a reasonably priced, basic offering restaurant.
The pizza is OK, nothing special. Tables are tightly packed together.
Thing to note, is that if you book a table, you get it for a fixed time (1 hour) and you don't know this at booking and you aren't told it, until they need the table. So no relaxing meals here and unless you are a fast drinker, perhaps the mediocre bottle of wine you ordered is going to be a challenge.
There are better Italian restaurants nearby, but go in with your eyes open and expectations set and...
