Looking for a quick evening meal for my wife, daughter and myself, we decided to visit Semburger. Firstly don't think a restaurant called Semburger sells burgers even though photos of their own menu on Google Maps will inform you that they do (including veggie burgers). When I queried this slight anomally with the proprietor he started waving his arms around and saying they never had sold burgers! Changing tack and trying to be flexible I asked about an alternative vegetarian food option and a vegetarian pizza was suggested. We decided against ordering food and ordered just drinks instead. I clearly said “nur Getränke” (only drinks). They then brought over a disgusting looking microwaved ‘pizza’ (we heard the microwave bell 'ping') sprayed with some type of ghastly ketchup for which they had the audacity to charge us €5.90. They either deliberately misunderstood us in order to rip us off or were stupid. I suspect the former, although watching the bill being calculated I can't entirely eliminate the latter either. Pathetic. This must be one of, if not the, worst restaurants in Vienna. Visit...

We came to this restaurant to eat georgian hinkali and some kebab. The moment we entered the restaurant which is basically one room, we noticed a bad smell like the one you get from a person who hasn't showered for a month. That killed our appetite on the spot. It was from the owner of the place, who for some reason, sits on the chair at the corner at his desk and observes the surroundings.. must be an armenian thing, but it looks strange. the waitress know nothing about the menu need to constantly ask the kitchen are not attentive at all. The wine we wanted was not on yhe menu, the kebab meat was very bad not authentic at all. The hinkalis though were very good, probably the only eatable food in this place with no manners and a wondering owner contaminating the place with his presence. Obviously I cannot recommend this place to anyone and will never...

Hard to describe the feeling when you randomly find the restaurant behind the corner and get freshly cooked meal with high-end restaurants quality. The food was beyond the expectations! I ordered grilled chicken and homemade fried potato, what I can say, the chicken was very well marinated, soft and juicy, potato - crispy outside and soft inside, you can notice right away that the food was proceeded right before serving, not pre-cooked in the morning or even frozen which is very common nowadays (unfortunately), and the combination/proportion of spices and salt was just how it supposed to be. Not plain, not over salted, just right amount of everything. Husband ordered kebab and said it was amazing (and he is very picky).

We even forgot to take a picture before starting our meals cause of attractive look and smell of the food.

I...

This place looks like a typical Caucasian restaurant, which means authentic and cozy. It was a bit noisy as the target audience of such a place is large groups of people who gather for a proper dinner. The food was nice, cannot complain. However, the service was unsatisfactory. My partner and I waited for 1,5 hours for just soup, pelmeni, and shashlyk. Unfortunately, this number is not an exaggeration. It was probably the longest time period I have ever waited for the order. The waiter tried to fix the situation, even suggested that we order something extra on the house. That was very nice of them! However, it doesn't change the fact that we waited far too long for three simple dishes. Hence, 3 stars. The place itself is nice, though!
