Ra'mien — Restaurant in Vienna

Decided to grab dinner at this restaurant. I've seen it several times before when I went to this food court. They offer a variety of dishes of different cuisines, so you'll definitely be able to find something here.

Cons:

Let me start of with the things I didn't like, I clearly ordered a dish with the meat variant but the waitress somehow still typed in the wrong order, so I ate a dish I did not really want because I was quite hungry at that point already.

I've tried Pad Thai at Thai restaurants before, and this restaurant's Pad Thai was a little too sweet in my opinion, the flavour was a little off.

The atmosphere gave off "eat and go" vibes, the tables and chairs, well more of the entire restaurant gave off a rather cold and clinical feeling due to the furnishings. Plus, the seats were somewhat uncomfortable to sit on.

Pros:

Let's move on to the positive aspects of this restaurant. I think, the prices are reasonable, since the portions are decently sized.

Even though one waitress got my order wrong, another waiter wanted to switch out the dish but I told him that it's not that big of a deal. I saw that they were busy with online orders and serving dine in customers, but still managed to be very friendly.

The Chili Eggplant with rice was delicious! Not too spicy! Would eat it again, hopefully I'll be able to get the meat variant next time though.

All in all, I would eat here again and I recommend others to give it...

I had pad Thai here on a Sunday night 20 October. It tasted too greasy and sweet…shrimp didn’t taste fresh…but it’s a food court restaurant near train station, so do not want to judge too much …

The young lady waitress here was quite nice, I was kind of sick that day after long traveling and just wanted to find something Asian style comfort food near my hotel…the food was not that good and I couldn’t even finish half…the young lady kept asking me if I was okay and if I needed to have food taken away. She was like my mom/elder sister …made me feel a bit warm in this foreign country…I feel sorry I couldn’t respond her much that day since I got very sick and could only say “yes” or “no”…if you see this, please know I was never angry/giving attitude...

I come to this place regularly since the food is really tasty. However this time I was very disappointed with the payment process. I used 2 Sodexo vouchers and wanted to pay the rest of the amount with card. Unfortunately the waitress told me that it is not possible as the minimum amount to use the debit card is 7€. Hence I said that I would take the cash from the ATM to pay the remaining amount in cash. Nevertheless the waitress ignored and asked me to pay the full amount with card & not use the Sodexo vouchers at all. In the end I gave her an additional Sodexo voucher but was not given any change and left totally overcharged. Guess the waitress took the additional amount as her tip... quite a disappointing experience for a place I used to...
