Ristorante Trimelli — Restaurant in Vienna

I think that the ,,tip the waiter,, is really wrong undertstand in this place.

I visited today ,,Ristorante Trimelli,, with my girlfriend for a nice dinner. The restaurant looks nice and is really clean. One old man invite us to sit at our table and give us the menü. After that another waiter was comming to us and was speaking really ,,cold,, with us. We order one ,,Bruschetta,, as a starter and after that one ,,Pasta Pesto,, and ,,Pizza Trimelli,, . The food was great, really good, but the way that the waiter was looking and speaking with us was really weird(was a 40-45 years old man, tall and with Gray hair). We finish to eat and everything was exactly 50 euro, i wanna pay with 100 euro, he hand us the change(the same waiter what was unfriendly and really weird) and he say's ,,No tips?!,,. For what we get from his side, he didn't deserve anything, so we just leave.

The food prices are a little bit to high for what you get.

Food was decent... But absolutely rudest person serving I have ever experienced in my life. He was not rude to us, but to the woman at the table next to us who asked a simple question about whether the chicken in a pasta dish had breast meat or dark meat. He told her, bizarrely, "this is not McDonald's, it is fresh."

So not only was he outrageously condescending, he carried on talking about how fresh it was, as if that answered the question. Totally understandable that things don't always translate, but no excuse for that kind of snobbery, especially when he just clearly did not understand the question.

To top it off, he had the audacity to ask her for a tip at the end of the meal, which she obliged, because she is a far nicer person than he deserved to wait on. Plenty of other Italian restaurants in this city to...

Anfänglich sahs ganz nett aus. Kellner war freundlich, im nachhinein ist er es wahrscheinlich auch nur als Kellner eher ungeeignet. Mein Fehler war, dass ich ein Weizenbier bestellte, wo man dazusagen muss ich trinke nur Weizenbier seit Jahren und ihm nicht ersuchte nachzuschauen wann das Ablaufdatum ist. Denn Weizenbier bekommt selbst 1-2 Monate(das hier lief inn 1,5 Monaten ab) davor schon so einen etwas grauslichen süßen Nachgeschack, zumindest für mein persönliches Empfinden. Bin da ein Genießer und sicher penibel. Als ich das dem Kellner dann mitteilte und sagte ich zahle das Bier, hätte aber bitte gern ein Glas Wasser sagte er nein nein was wollen sie denn trinken. Nach dieser Frage ging ich eigentlich davon aus, dass man mir aus Kulanz ein Getränk spendiere und ich nur das eine Bier zahlen muss. Sagte ein Himbeersoda. Bei der Rechnung im nachhinein wurde ich für beide Getränke zur Kassa gebeten :(.Das Essen schmeckte bei aller liebe trockener als der Wüstensand in der Sahara und ohne jegliche Frische. Die Preise sind hier um einige Euros überzogen. Meine Begleiterin empfand es bei ihrem Getränk und Essen ähnlich, was sonst selten vorkommt. Jetzt zum Punkt wieso der im Prinzip nette etwas ältere Kellner ungeeignet erschien abgesehen von dem falschen Getränkelockangebot. Als wir fertig waren kam er her nahm den Teller und verschwand ohne nachzufragen, wie es einem schmeckte. Beim Trinkgeld, das in meinem Fall im Vergleich zu sonst wegen diesem doppelten Getränkespass niedrig ausfiel(1,50 Euro),bei Begleitung 2,6Euro wieder kein Wort von seiner Seite.
