The rudest service I have ever encountered. I had just arrived in Austria and tried my best to order currywurst and fries using my limited German, which I hoped would be simple enough. He sensed that German is not my native language and decided it would be fun to act like he doesn’t understand what I’m saying.

Later on he put the currywurst in the bag and then asked for payment midway, before starting work on the fries. Everywhere else you either ask for payment before preparing the order, or when the order is 100% finished! This confused me, so when I checked the bag to confirm there’s no fries, he became hostile and hit me in the head with a plastic tray. Where in the world is this acceptable?

Würstel Boutique is a sausage hot dog fast food stall located in the food court area of the Hauptbahnfof Wien( Central train station Vienna). They sell variety of different kind of sausage, hot dogs. Some are steamed or grilled. They also sell fries well.

In terms of drinks they sell beer, radler, and non alcoholic drinks.

I had a Bratwurst 🌭 with mustard and a bun of white bread. As extra add ons I ad pickled red spicy chillies for the kick .🌶

The Bratwurst was really nice & juicy, it had nice grilled meaty flavour.

The guy that was working there was very polite and kind. He was very efficient, fast with taking the order and preparing the Bratwurst.

Würstel Boutique is the perfect place for a small lunch, afternoon snack, small dinner while for the next train .

This is the only sausage shop inside central station I think. They have the famous curry wurst and other regular ones. The Wiener wurst is not there at that time. There are lots of seating places available just opposite to the small shop. Quick service and great atmosphere. You can spend time while waiting for the train here, there's a huge display board...
