Manzara Restaurant — Restaurant in Baku City

We have just been to Manzara. The front girl was polite and gave us a table outside. We waited for 15 minutes, nothing happened although a bunch of waiters passed our table. We then asked for the menu that after another couple of minutes was presented by a waiter who definitely was in no mood to serve us. We had a look at the menu, again, nothing happened, so we asked for a table inside. There is a wooden cage, home to different bird breeds. It sits in the middle of drafts from the door, what is horrible for birds. The budgies were flying and chatting to each other (what I know they do even if they are unwell), others were just sitting there without showing joy. That cage is far too small and not suitable for those birds. Also its location is totally wrong. It looks messy. Please remove the cage and find a loving home for those poor animals!!!!! Inside the restaurant is nice. The food is of good quality and well presented. The service is almost as bad as outside. My salad arrived first, then the drinks, my husband's food some time later. The waiter also was not exceptional. But at least we were being served. You are in an amazing spot of Baku and serve the right food. But you could do so much better by just changing...

One of your waiter you should stop him from work he insult one guest in front of us because she ask him do u have shisha he said to her no but she ask him again than he get nervous and he shout in his language and left , the worst that his manager did nothing and he keep telling her ok ok what you want to order 🤨shame . After that same waiter he come to us I tell him why you re angry he said no she s bad not me 🤨he tell me I will bring you fruit for free and write a good review about me . I can buy all his menu included the restaurant he s working on it .. no prestige no education no respect to clients and he was asking me give m your phone I show u how to do I tell him what you mean coz he s English was very law he catch my phone from my hand he open google in his language he wrote by himself without taking my permission , we left his fruit on the table and never will go back . First of all, when I entered, the restaurant was not very crowded. I requested a seat near the windows, but it was denied, with the staff claiming they were all reserved. Instead, I was given a dim, dark spot with no view. However, the people behind me, who clearly had no reservations, were seated near the windows—along with those who came after them.

Secondly, while I was having my dessert, a waiter (whose name I won’t mention out of mercy) approached me, towered over me, and told me to write a review mentioning his name in exchange for a complimentary item. I said I would do it when leaving, but he extended his hand and said, “Give me your phone.” I firmly refused and told him I could do it myself. To get him off my back, I wrote a fake positive review, which I have since deleted. I did receive a complimentary tea, but that doesn’t make it right.

It’s a nice place with really good honey cake and an amazing atmosphere. All it needs is better service and...
