A complete scam establishment. I had been here a few years ago and decided to return as I was back in Baku this July. So, I came with my wife for a drink and a snack at 21:30 on a Monday night. It was about 1/2 full. I asked to sit upstairs (not busy) but the girl at the reception demanded 200 manat ($130) “Depozit” to be seated there. Seemed like a scam. Not required for downstairs however despite 1/2 of the sofas being empty with no reserved signs they were all “reserved”, which was laughable given the time. Not sure what scams are going on here but clearly the people seating guests shouldn’t be trusted to operate in such an idiotic way driving away clients. Or perhaps they just don’t want European guests. Nekulturny attitude (if you can call it even service). Never again.
