I recently went to Time Out in Dhaka for Iftar, and it felt like a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The food still carries the same incredible flavors I remember, and the warm hospitality made the experience even better.
The Beef Mushroom Steak was just perfect—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. It reminded me why I keep coming back here. Alongside it, the Sizzling Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce added just the right kick, with its bold spices and rich aroma making every bite satisfying.
To balance out the flavors, I had a Watermelon Juice, which was wonderfully refreshing—just what I needed after a long day of fasting. The Cappuccino was smooth and creamy, the perfect way to round off the meal. And of course, the Dahi Vada was soft, light, and full of flavor, adding a lovely traditional touch to the Iftar spread.
Beyond the food, the service was just as warm and welcoming as always. The staff were attentive and made sure everything was just right. It's rare to see a restaurant maintain such high standards for so many years, but Time Out continues to do so effortlessly.
If you're looking for a place in Dhaka that serves consistently great food with a welcoming atmosphere, this is it. Can't wait for...
Read moreTime Out has been one of my go-to restaurants for over a decade, first at the original outlet at Gulshan 1 and then the Banani branch when it opened. But what was once a reasonably priced place for a quick bite has become an expensive restaurant with pretensions of grandeur.
My latest meal of three shared dishes and two drinks came to an average of about tk900 per person. This might seem quite reasonable for a meal in Banani were it not for the atrocious quality of the food on offer. Our drinks just tasted awful and the food seemed to be rushed out from the kitchen with the dishes either undercooked, over-salty or just flavourless.
The one thing that they cannot be faulted on is the service. The waiters were courteous and attentive, something that is unfortunately becoming a rarity in the Dhaka restaurant scene.
I'm going to give this place one more chance because this has been the scene of many meals over the years. But they better get their act together. While we may be willing to swallow bad food, few are willing to pay a premium price for...
Read moreThis is one restaurant where i do come (at least 2/3 times a year) for last 20 years. Yes it is. Initially it was located at Gulshan 1 beside Riggs In Hotel. And later it relocated in current address.
Food has always been amazing here. Fried rice, beef with basil leaf, chicken red curry and fried vegetables are best and safest choice here. You can try their other dishes as well. Their drinks are also very tasty.
The ambiance is very normal, not very aesthetically beautiful but gives you a feel that you can continue your hangout time here with laughter and joy. They have smoking zone too.
Price wise it became bit expensive thats what I felt in my recent visit. But...
