Zephyr Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

I am nothing but amazed with this restaurant. Usually the platters the restaurants offer, oftentimes it's all bout how many dishes they can cram into a plate without thinking bout the nutrition value or the feasibility of finishing all the food, also taste comes secondary in that regards, its all bout how many items instead of tasty offering. I am thankful for the Google search which led me to book a place in Zephyr for iftar as the place looked amazing and the menu pretty appealing. The staff are very welcoming and treat u warmly. The atmosphere was not chaotic . And the Food, i have to hand it to the chef. To be very honest, this was the very first time ever in Dhaka, i found such a well balanced platter of food which is light, refreshing and seasoned to perfection. And most importantly, they were not crammed in one plate. There were 3 plates, Entree, Main and Dessert. And they were not just visually beautiful but also delicious. Every single thing on the plates had a purpose, a stroke of sauce under the veggies or the potato ball wasn't for decoration, it was a necessary complimentary element for those two things. The satay was there to compliment the chickpea salad. Fried rice was very light and not too overpowering in terms of flavor as the chicken and the gravy were very well seasoned and again the complimenting element for the rice. The carrot halwa was mouthwatering. And the drinks, the Blackcurrant cola was to die for. It's been ages since i found a drink where u can actually taste the Blackcurrant. The Sunrise was as delicious. Best thing, they were not diluted with too much ice so u can actually taste the real thing. Again, the staff were amazing, polite and friendly which made the whole experience much much better. Hopefully will get there again one of the colder days as the rooftop is pretty amazing. And i hope the same standard is maintained in future so that ppl can have a lovely fine dining...

I recently had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant which was filled with lush greenery and ample natural light. The ambience and decor were truly captivating, creating a tranquil atmosphere.

The highlight of my meal was the assorted mixed grilled platter, which featured mouthwatering lamb chops, grilled chicken, and a delightful beef steak. Served with sautéed vegetables and fried rice, each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors.

My wife and friend opted for the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce, and they were equally pleased. The chicken was perfectly grilled, and the mushroom sauce added a creamy touch that elevated the dish.

While the food and ambiance were exceptional, However, I must express my disappointment with the lack of availability of popular soft drinks such as Coke or Sprite. It would have been great to have those options to complement the delicious meal especially considering the warm weather and the desire for a refreshing fizzy drink.

Furthermore, I felt this was intentional to opt for their mocktails and other specialty drinks. While I appreciate their efforts to upsell, it would have been more enjoyable to have coke or sprite without feeling compelled to spend more. Sometimes you just feel like having a coke with your meal and nothing else. I really hope you will add the soft drinks to your menu very soon.

Despite this minor setback, the overall dining experience was wonderful. The staff was attentive, and the attention to detail in the decor added to the restaurant's charm. If you're seeking a serene oasis with delicious grilled dishes, I highly recommend giving this...

This is one of the most hyped restaurant in recent days and I have been there twice for dinner with family.

The place is combined both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements with lots of green trees and nicely decorated.

Unfortunately, I am not much happy with their food and service

Foods are expensive but taste not as good as it looks, on the other hand, the service people forgot to give us the tissue, cutleries, and I keep to ask for them every time, I have to ask also they were laughing and talking themselves in a loud way which was bit annoying.

We have kids with us and the most surprising thing is that they have run out of mineral water and they trying to push other drinks for the kids too.

But whenever they come to the table they were well mannered and try to suggest the best dish but the both of my visits non of the food is as good as the hype they created.

Food: presentation is excellent but the taste is not good enough

Service: very weird things I have faced so can't say anything.

Atmosphere: very nicely decorated… I would say it’s an Instagram restaurant for those who can spend a little bit more money on dinner.
