Food below average to be completely honest and I didn’t feel the ingredients were quality ingredients for the prices ( not even average quality in my humble opinion). The only reason I don’t give it a 1 star is because the waiter said sorry to us because we found our carbonara extremely salty and we didn’t eat any of it. You could have proposed a dessert or at least to remove it from the bill since its not cheap at all specially for what it is ( 23€ for carbonara pesto )… I don’t blame the waiter cause I felt he was new and his first reaction was to say sorry and that he would pass the message to the chef so a 3 star for the good will. This restaurant has amazing real Italian food. Everything it’s really Italian. You even get the Italian tv shows on a small tv placed on a table in the typical Italian trattoria style. I don’t understand the comments on pizza not being a proper or real Italian pizza. As an Italian let me confirm that there are many different type of pizzas and pizza shouldn’t be judged by the height of the crust or other aesthetic points. There is one way to judge pizza: if you leave the table without feeling heavy and if you digest it in 2 hours then it’s an excellent pizza! Obviously it shouldn’t be burnt nor undercooked. Pizza were not available for lunch, but that was a small inconvenience: the pasta were very good, the sauce had a perfect texture and shine to it.

The gnocchi dish was well balanced, although I would have prefered having a side plate of parmesan to adjust the amount of cheese to my liking, especially considering there was not quite a lot of mozzarella. Gnocchi themselves were perfectly cooked.

Service was pretty quick and reactive, albeit there were few customers.
