KBAP Korean Cuisine — Restaurant in Antwerp

I agree with the other reviews that it's not entirely "authentic" Korean food, but it's definitely not bad considering there's no other affordable Korean places in Antwerp.

We had the spicy beef and spicy pork bulgogi bowls. They're made sweeter than you'd expect from Korean food, but not too sweet imo. The rice was nice and soft and balanced the dish out together with the leafy greens. The soy sprout side dish wasn't seasoned enough to my taste, but they kindly offered me salt and sesame oil after requesting it. The drink menu could use an expansion though. The teas were too sweet and I'm not a fan of water or coke during dining.

Top! Worth every penny. Although not considered cheap, but you will definitely find yourself satisfied if you are a real Korean food lover. The rice is so far the best I ever had since I lived in Belgium. So many Asian restaurants here just serve poor quality rice, and poorly cooked. Of course, you can’t do magic to bad rice. Their rice is obviously good quality and nicely cooked, perfect softness and moist to go with the meat and veges. It might not look like a big portion, but surprisingly the bowl is pretty deep and everything in it is plenty. I am very very very happy with their food. The staff and the owner are super friendly and very talkitive. For being a student I find the prices very reasonable for what you get (Its sooo good and its halal). What i found suprising was how good the teokk-bokki was compared to other places, Let alone the main dishes.Also the meat is all halal (but pork.)
