Updated Review: Dear,
Thanks for your reply, but with all due respect, you missed the point.
This was never about your channel schedule. It was about your staff’s mindset and attitude. A simple kind word from your team would have made all the difference.
I didn’t think I needed to explain again, but for your sake — and for anyone considering here’s what actually happened: • We were watching a sports channel with about 10 minutes left. Suddenly, it got changed. • We politely asked the older lady ( FIONA) if she could put it back. Her response: “Go talk to Lois (or something like that), the bartender.” • My husband did. Met a male bartender probably Lois he acted clueless, rigid, zero effort to help. My husband came back clearly upset. Then the older lady apologized, and the channel was back on — for a moment. • Lois the male bartender wasn’t finished. He came back to our table with an unprofessional tone. We ignored him — we just wanted to enjoy our drinks quietly. But apparently, he needed the last word: “VERY WELL, THANK YOU,” he said, and walked off. Then the channel switched again.
So please don’t reply telling me it was about a schedule. Your staff changed the channel back and forth. That wasn’t scheduling — that was pure attitude.
Now about your team: We were only speaking to the older lady and the male bartender. But from start to finish, the tall woman staff ( LAURA ) kept inserting herself, throwing in things like: “You don’t need to be rude” and “I’m not going to help you because you are rude.”
With all due respect — we never asked her for anything in the first place. She just kept adding her voice where it wasn’t needed. We were angry, not rude. Let’s not twist it.
I hope this is clearer now, so there’s no misunderstanding next time!
Kind regards with thanks! —————————————————————
It was our first time in Belgium, and we were excited to explore Antwerp. We stopped by Kelly’s Irish Pub, ordered a drink, and started watching the game that was on. A few minutes later, the staff suddenly changed the channel, which confused us. We went to ask — politely — if they could put it back.
Instead of explaining , the staff gave us attitude right away. Naturally, we got upset — we were just trying to enjoy our drink and the game — and then they turned around and called us rude. They refused to change the channel back or even serve us after that.
Honestly, it was such a weird experience. We were in a great mood on holiday and didn’t expect to be treated like that. Since you take the time to respond to nice reviews, I hope you don’t skip this one. And hopefully you reflect and treat future customers with...

Read moreWe visited this bar on a cold autumn evening, hoping to warm up with some cappuccino or tea, but were disappointed to find out that they don’t serve either. Instead, we had to settle for overpriced cold drinks, which wasn’t ideal given the weather.
The experience started off poorly, and it only got worse from there. It took at least 10 minutes for each of us to get the bartender’s attention. The staff seemed indifferent to the fact that we were waiting, which left us feeling unwelcome. Once we finally got seated, a waiter came over after a few minutes to ask if we wanted to order anything else. When we politely declined, his attitude shifted noticeably, and we felt pressured to leave. It was obvious they had no interest in customers who weren’t spending a lot. So whole experience felt more like a transaction than hospitality.
To be fair, the bar itself has a cozy Irish pub vibe, and its central location is convenient. However, the service was disappointing, and the staff’s attitude made us feel undervalued as customers. I can’t rate it higher than 3 stars, despite...
