Bentosan is a delicious experience in Asian cuisine. The owner was gracious in seating us early even though all the tables had been reserved. He patiently walked us through the menu and even helped us navigate the Social Deal app. We ordered three course meals. The meat and vegetable Dim Sum was wonderful and piping hot, as were the noodle dishes. The noodle dish was served in a broth that is simmered all day to develop flavor, and it was very unique in that it was a spice-filled, aromatic departure from the traditional umami-filled broths that I normally equate with Asian cuisine. We followed up with fried ice cream and sesame balls that were incredible! My only complaint with the egg noodle dish I ordered is that the outside was texturally rough and not what I would equate with a normal egg noodle.

Everything about this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The delightful, helpful and friendly front of house staff was a warm welcome to a seamless meal. What first struck me was the price of the menu, but these turned out to be fair after we’d tasted the quality of the food. I had the garlic marinated ribs which were delicious and generously portioned. They came with a rich sauce that was sweet and full of flavour. My dad got the aubergine and tofu main, saying it was the best he’d ever had (he’s had a lot of Chinese food). The beers that came with the meal were excellent. Lastly, the setting was beautiful, I must commend the interior design choices. Highly recommend this Chinese fine...

This place is amazing. I walked in solo because of the reviews. They were fully booked but they seated me. They treated me so well! Such respect for customers. Their food is to die for. I had the iberico pork dim sum and the zwarte truffle dumplings. Delicious. You can not go wrong. If I was with another person I would have chosen the Dim sum tower! Prices are expensive. As an Australian maybe the exchange rate is the issue. But, as we all know, a little more for an amazing service, taste and style, will never leave you disappointed when you leave....
