L'Estaminet — Restaurant in Bruges

Went to this place after reading about it in an article. Clearly a paid review. The staff was untrained and definitely not fond of “foreigners”. I went with my 3-year-old kid and waited for 45 mins at my table for someone to take the order. The server kept taking orders of people who came after us and intentionally kept ignoring us. So after waiting patiently for 45 mins and trying to call them, we left. Can’t say anything about the food since we weren’t served anything, but the manners definitely leave you unimpressed. Also heard the server shouting at a couple of elderly people when they tried to enquire about...

Lovely little pub with a covered patio next to a park and just out of the downtown area. Staff is efficient and very friendly. The food is delicious and very well prepared. We both had pasta dishes which were very tasty and served piping hot. All the other meals served around us looked just as well prepared...and looked just as tasty. The dessert (chocolate mousse) was a delicious cap to the evening. Highly recommend this Belgium pub...fair value and delicious food, in a relaxing setting... nothing better could be asked for by a weary tourist or...

They don’t care to have tourists. Waiter was rude and unfriendly and was very clear that tourists were not welcome because it was a restaurant for the local so don’t bother going to that restaurant even if is refer by other local persons. We when on the 1/2 hour boat tour and Ms Sara , the captain, took pride in recommending that restaurant and it turn out to be a disappointment.
