Im very honestly surprised at the reviews left behind, Im genuinely suspicious of the high rating because how can a place in belgium that serves frozen waffles on the table that still feels ice cold On the inside and hot on the outside have such high review score? Odd. The flat white I ordered was burnt and not up to the standard for the price ration, you can go 10min radius for specialty coffee you will pay the same or even less and get quality cup of coffee, here it didn’t seem like they were aware what Flat White was, which is okay for a random cafe, but this place is marketed as Brunch place with coffees thus my harsh judgement. The main that I had included “hollandaise sauce”. It was serves in a shot glass and the top was still warm and the bottom frozen, my conclusion, it was just taken out of the microwave. Nothing wrong to reheat it in a busy space, but you had perhaps 2 more tables? Even so the sauce was extremely thin and liquidy, had no flavor or depth of butter or lemon or mustard.. (key elements).

I personally was too discouraged for the dessert but my companions were more optimistic that’s when they were presented with frozen waffles for the desert.

Yes we did have 50% of the menu, that’s why I refrained from sending all the food back and demanding complete refund, however I hope this constructive criticism allows the restaurant to head to the right direction forward. The staff was quite friendly and ahas a potential, more on-site training might make a huge difference.

For example, the poached egg we ordered was completely cooked through, losing its characteristic runny yolk, and the matcha latte was very watery, lacking the rich, creamy texture one would expect.

The service at Casa Louise is friendly and attentive, but unfortunately, it is also quite slow. It took a considerable amount of time for our food to arrive, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the door to the restaurant was left open throughout our meal, making the interior quite chilly and uncomfortable. Despite this, the ambiance of the place is cozy, with a charming decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, I have to say that for the price (we got 50% reduction in the menu by ordering in an app) is worth it.

The combination of good quality ingredients and poor dish execution is disappointing, as Casa Louise has the potential to offer a much better dining experience. If they could improve the consistency of their dishes and address the slow service, it would make a significant difference.
