I wouldnt recommend here for anything else than watching sport, good selection of televisions for that. Food defenitly not, food made with no effort, burgers look and taste no better than something you'd buy in a quick at 3am. for example the 'Celtic' burger, for €14 there's no set sauce on it, they would give you it completely dry and have you ask for a sauce after rather than before. €8 for 6 chicken wings which were supposed to be as stated as on the menu "tossed in our homemade hot sauce, served with a soothing blue cheese dip" but what we got was 6 wings in tobasco sauce (didn't know you homemade tobasco sauce) with no blue cheese dip, that just taste like misery. Drinks were okay but way overpriced, (€7.50 for a pint of cider). Staff were okay, some not very welcoming, should be more irish staff working here to create a more irish friendly environment, doesn't make me feel like I'm in an Irish pub.
Overall very disappointed...
Read moreTry to get a table with sticker of an QR code. On opening we came and had a higher table outside which did not have that - but we didnt know about it. We waited like 5-10min outside, without getting served. So on the outside it says "bar service", but once going inside I got told unfriendly a simple "table service". So I went outside, but after totally 30min waiting i asked inside about where/when/how to order. Then we got told that there are QR code stickers on the tables (not ours) and we would have to order via them. After saying there was no QR code on ours, I got told to scan from another table...they had a bunch of tables INSIDE with such QR code, while it was not yet allowed to serve inside..i scanned one of them and we were able to order...
recommendation: get such a table, 0/5 for the personal, 1/5 for the beer. There are other bars around, I will try to avoid it a bit...Guiness you can...
Read moreThe place is warmhearted and welcoming if you choose the right place to seat ( some areas were having unhealthy heat and others freezing cold). Unlike the place, the staff don’t have nothing to do with Ireland, they were not welcoming don’t even dare try to talk to them in an other language than English you’ll receive a scornful look. The drinks where ok but way over the price as-well as the food : the bbq wings where dry without the sauce, the buffalo wings just taste like spice without an actual taste, I could’ve made the same burger at home ( even better than I received cause I would have put sauce and more fries), curry fries where ok but not enough sauce and finally the soup was ok but with bits.(Afterward I had a check on the menu and I didn’t receive the totality of the meals ). Soo I’ve been to an Handful of Irish bar and I am still looking for the Irish spirit that I haven’t...
