Royal Indian is a gem for those seeking authentic Indian flavors. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warm aromas of spices that promised a delightful culinary journey ahead. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Butter Chicken. The dish was a perfect symphony of creamy tomato sauce, tender chicken, and a blend of spices that sang with flavor in every bite. Paired with their impeccably soft and buttery Naan, each mouthful was a comforting embrace of rich, indulgent taste.

However, the dining experience did come with a slight caveat—the restaurant space felt a bit cramped. While this is often the hallmark of sought-after eateries where demand outpaces the available seating, a little more elbow room would have enhanced the dining experience significantly.

But any inconvenience was easily overshadowed by the exceptional service. The staff at Royal Indian went above and beyond, ensuring that our meal was not just food on a plate but a memorable experience. Their attention to detail, recommendations, and prompt service truly set them apart.

In conclusion, Royal Indian is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. The Butter Chicken and Naan alone are worth the trip, and when paired with their excellent service, it's an experience that transcends the slightly cramped setting. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado of Indian cuisine or a curious newcomer ready to explore, Royal Indian promises a journey through India's culinary delights that you won't...

The food was very delicious (chana masala with rice) and the portion a good size. The server was polite and nice and food came out really quickly which I appreciate. I was happy to see clearly labeled vegan dishes on the menu.

Unfortunately that was all. The rice (or bread, whichever you choose) was not included with the meal and the server didnt interact with me again for the rest of the evening so I decided not to get another drink or dessert. When I asked to pay I had to go pay at the bar which i don't mind, but was awkward as there was no space to wait at and the staff member who gave me the bill was, in my opinion, strange. Very uncomfortable situation as he constantly changed his mind and I didn't understand what he was trying to communicate. He had a hard time accepting I wanted to pay by card (which was possible).

To top it all off when I finally paid and was ready to leave he asked me word for word "are you a boy?". I even asked him to repeat to make sure I was hearing that right. Absolutely unbelievable and insulting and still have no idea what prompted him to say that. I don't dress unconventionally, and even if so that's still not a reason for a staff member to ask personal questions. This single very off putting interaction marks this place (maybe just that specific server!) in my opinion as not very...

We stumbled upon this place when the craving for Indian food during our Brussles trip got better of us! A big part of our travel group of 9 being vegetarian we wanted a place with authentic Idia taste and godo collection of veg and non-veg dishes. The place turned out just what we were looking for! They accommodated us with difficulty due to the peak turist season and requeted for all order to be palced at the same time. We ordered a variety of veg and non-veg dishes and everybody at the end of evening left the hotel fully satisfied!! Veg mixed platter was ordinary but not disappointing. Veg dishes of bhindi bhaji (surprise star), kadhaai paneer and shaahi paneer was extremely popular. My wife ordered sarso ka saag which was great too (too bad there was no makki ki roti). Non-veg thaali was exceptional and the bread qualities were great!! Large selection of fruit juices, lassi and alcoholic drinks! I was thrilled to see Amrut whiskey on the menu and relished it! THe service team was a bit too prescriptive of how to order etc but I guess it was due to the high rush of guests in the hotel. But overall, if you want to add some good quality indian food in your expereince of Brussles enter, do visit this place and you will not be disappointed. We sat on the first floor which has a new decor and...

Quality Indian food in Brussels. Flavorful, large servings and the right amount of spice. Passed Royal Indian Restaurant while on our walking tour and saw our favorite Indian dishes on the menu and thought, dinner? Well, we stopped for dinner and the restaurant was quite full. We sat inside and for a starter we ordered the Onion Bhajee, which were very crispy and full of flavor served with a mint and an apricot sauce. For dinner I ordered the Matar Paneer with Basmati rice. When served, the bowl was filled with paneer and a light curry sauce. With the rice, it was a large portion. The spice was just right and the paneer tasted fresh. My partner ordered the Chana Poori and really loved his dish. Again, the Chickpeas were piled high and the sauce was very good. Overall, for our taste, we enjoyed the flavors and the spice level. We tried Indian restaurants a few times on this trip in The Netherlands and Belgium and enjoyed Royal Indian the most. With our check they presented us with 2 ice cream bars which for me, cooled the heat in my mouth. This was very generous and appreciated. Service was perfect, our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. Worth a try if you enjoy Indian cuisine.
