After reading the positive reviews my mom and I decided to give it a go since we really wanted to eat mussels.
The restaurant was completely empty inside, but we didnât make a reservation so stepped in to ask. Immediately one of the waiters came up to us, and since we didnât make a reservation, the only spot that was left for us was one outside near the busy footpath. After rejecting the spot and letting him know we would look elsewhere suddenly there was a spot available inside the (still empty) restaurant. Ordering was fine but when the mussels and fries arrived no sauce was given nor bread or anything. We had to ask for mayonaise ourselves and had to share a mini cup of mayonaise (very disappointing for a Belgian restaurant). The mussels were served without any sauce , the sauce was the bouillon in the pan according to the waiter. In the meantime while eating, not a single waiter checked in and asked if everything was fine. They were too busy hanging around the bar. They were able to laugh with each other, but not a single smile at any customer was given. The atmosphere was very touristic, cold and anything but welcoming in my opinion. Even if you serve mussels without sauce, if a customer asks for sauce you offer them something.
Since Iâm from Amsterdam and never visited Brussel before, I was really excited to see the city and meet the âneighborsâ. Unfortunately this wasnât a good experience. In Amsterdam we treat tourists way different. Would not recommend and would definitely not...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of dining at The Brothers Brasserie, and it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for what would be an incredible meal. Let's talk about the highlight of the visit: the burgers. Simply put, The Brothers serves the most incredible burgers I've ever had. Each burger is crafted with care, using only the freshest ingredients, and the result is a symphony of flavors that dance on your taste buds. The patties are juicy and cooked to perfection, while the buns are soft and toasted just right. But the excellence doesn't stop at the food. The service at The Brothers is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest has a wonderful experience. The Brothers also offers a great selection of sides and beverages to complement their stellar burgers. Overall, The Brothers Brasserie is a must-visit. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. I can't wait to return and try more of their incredible offerings. Highly...

It's true the the food from here is very very good!!! We ordered Mussels with creamy garlic sauce, it was so tasty worth every penny we spend and every minute we wait for!! My children ordered steak and the kids menu fish and chips which are also nice. While my wife ordered the Brothers Salad. But my favorite is the Mussels!!! I finished all the soup from the Mussels.. Oh yes, tried the Belgian beer as well and they recommended me Karmelier which was very nice beer.
