Tokkebi BXL — Restaurant in Brussels

Ordered a corn dog with cheese filling and mustard. The portion was quite big and the taste was quite okay. However, there are only 2 tables which most of the times are occupied by tourists that just want to sit somewhere. For me at least, it was impossible to eat it on the go. Despite all the nice comments about the staff, the girl at the cash register seemed so annoyed and didn't even bother to say "hi" when we entered. We even asked her if it would be possible to tell all these random people to sit somewhere else so we can eat (since they were not customers) but she refused. Love this place! Went in april and I was finally able to try this korean street food snack I've been wanting to try for so long.

The corndog was crispy, the cheese was melty and delicious and the sauces paired perfectly with it. It might not be too authentic from a traditional korean point of view but it is definitely worth a try.

I wanted to go back on my recent trip to Belgium but sadly I couldn't. I'll find any excuse I can to go back to Brussels and have them one more time. I just hope the owners consider opening another place just like this in Madrid, I know it would be a huuuge hit !! I'll even work there if...

This is not the 1st time I have paid extra for a topping (potato, spicy chips,…) and received a different thing.

Same goes for the base. I’m lactose intolerant and ordered only sausage base but received a cheese and sausage.

I don’t know if the system of receiving and processing the order is different or something. I’ve both bad experience in person and delivery. Or better yet an untrained staff (incompetence), who serve uncooked dough.

Please just train your staff and do better, you might have the hype but if your food and service is trash it could only take you so far.
